Good not amazing - Edit
Nice spot by the river. Multiple vegan options. The tofu bowl was delicious. Can't complain but it wasn't amazing. The beer is good.

Limited vegan options as of 03/24 - Edit
Limited vegan options. Only one menu item appeared to be customisable to make vegan. Cider on top is vegan though and quite tasty.

Surcharges vegan cheese even when needing to omit 75% of pizza toppings 🙃 - Edit
Another venue charging heaps extra for vegan cheese, whilst having to omit 75% of the toppings to make something vegan is annoying - essentially charging what they charge for their most gourmet pizza when all we’d get would be pretty much dough, sauce & cheese.
Read moreEither way we didn’t get the chance to get ripped off bc they were operating on a limited menu when we arrived, so the only vegan option was chips.

Great spot - Edit
Had lunch here twice on our recent trip to Bright. Lovely spot by the river, nice outdoor area with heating and live music on weekends. We tried the vegan pizza (they didn't even charge extra for vegan cheese), cauliflower florets and kifler potatoes. Generous portions and great service. They also have a vegan burger and a few other options that can be veganised

Vegan pizza - Edit
There were a few vegan options listed on their menu, from memory a few pizzas and a poke bowl. They offer vegan cheese to be added to pizzas which is great

Veggie burger w/ vegan cheese - Edit
Mostly lovely staff and food was delicious. Even my dad who enjoys meat with every meal enjoyed a veggie meal! (Vegetarian chilli bowl)

They've turned it around - Edit
Super busy venue. The heart of Bright. Previously they didn't offer much vegan options but now they have us covered. Vegans cheeses on pizza, burgers, Buddah bowls and chilli bowls. Highly recommended.

Sad pizza - Edit
The vegan pizza option (spinach, beetroot, walnut, pumpkin) looked awesome on the menu but was tasteless and bland. Definitely a token vegan option made by someone who has never tried it.

Cons: Expensive and few vegan options

Disappointed - Edit
Ordered the vegan pumpkin and walnut pizza and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The gluten free base is bland and half cooked; the beetroot paste has little taste, the half cooked spinach looks like a gardening nightmare and the steamed pumpkin has not even been put under the grill to brown it. You can’t usually stuff up walnuts but these are a half hearted attempt at being toasted. Lift your game Bright Brewery.

Expensive and misleading menu - Edit
Very disappointed, came here based on the vegan options mentioned on the menu and will not be back based on experience. I ordered the poke bowl, which mentioned there was a vegan option available. When I asked what the salmon was substituted for I was told the chef would do this vegan for me (even though the menu stated there was a vegan option) but would remove the salmon and sriracha mayo and would charge me the same price but would not include anything else. It’s great these small towns are now offering a vegan option but if you are going to advertise that you have this option do not over charge or at least have a vegan substitute that will give your customers value for money.

Beautiful setting with tasty vegan options - Edit
This brewery overlooks the river and has marked vegan options on the menu. I had the quinoa burger with fries and a gin and tonic, both of which were enjoyable. Food came out quickly. There are multiple vegan options on the menu including the quinoa burger, a pizza, a buddha bowl and several sides/snacks. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and it’s a lovely spot to have a meal.
