Laid back with a side of fancy - Edit
As far as I can tell, this restaurant has two sections with tables: a bar side and an event side.
Read moreThe event side can be rented for weddings, banquets and gatherings, and is used for special meals on Valentine’s Day, Easter, and other holidays. It is quite elegant with the special lighting, brickwork, and white linen table settings. Calling the event side a “fine dining” experience makes sense and fits.
The bar side, however, is a different story, and almost a dichotomy. During dinner on the bar side, for example, the atmosphere consists of locals drinking and talking loudly, video games in the corner, a menu with tongue-in-cheek descriptions, and either pop music playing overhead or live music such as a Rolling Stones cover band. In my opinion, it is inaccurate to categorize the bar side as fine dining even if the tables have white linen settings. It’s more laid back with a side of fancy.
The food itself was great. Brianno’s clearly put some thought and effort into the vegan appetizer and vegan entrée I ordered. Both were beautifully presented, tasty and creative, and for this alone I am giving 4 stars.
I don’t see myself seeking out Brianno’s for a fine dining experience or coming here for the vegan menu options. But if a group wanted to go, or I was attending an event in this venue, I would not hesitate.

Perfect location for a special outing, excellent live music and lakeside location for vegan and others - Edit
This is a special place for me (vegan) and my wife (omnivore) for a fine dinner and live music. There is nowhere else we can get this combination of excellent food (vegan platter for me, to die for) and whatever she wants.
