Serves meat, vegan options available. Evocative brewery in a former chapel featuring tours & a pub offering craft beers & French cuisine. Vegan choices may include a tempeh sandwich, garden of eatin' (vegan option), pomme frite, truffle fries, crock of pickles. Craft kitchen has a rotating menu that changes regularly but always has at least one vegan item, so ask the server to possibly test something vegan not on the menu. Open Mon-Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:00pm.

One of the worst vegan sandwiches - Edit
The tempeh sandwich was just terrible. One of the worst vegan experiences I've ever had.

Man, that’s a shame. They can be hit-or-miss with their rotating menu.

Take me to Church! - Edit
Brewery Vivant is a staple brewhouse in Beer City sporting one of the coolest atmospheres to sip a pint. Housed in a renovated chapel, Brewery Vivant serves French cuisine with an American twist.
Read moreRenowned for their haut cuisine with laidback pretensions, Brewery Vivant focuses on a rotating menu that is constantly evolving. It is hard to pinpoint a food suggestion because every time I have visited the menu is different. I will be honest, it is not always impeccable, but they usually hit the target more times than not. And the mere boldness for striving to constantly prepare something new must be commended.
From a plant-based perspective, they have always had at least one option on their ever-changing offerings. Also, make sure to ask the server about their vegan options. I have had them offer me a meal that they are workshopping for a future menu - and it was one of the best meals I have had at Vivant. It’s a food experience that caters to the adventurous.
They could improve by having a few more vegan options regularly offered. But I know that is difficult while striving to follow a typically meat heavy French cuisine. Also, the setting of a repurposed chapel into a beerhouse is awesome. But it also feels a bit empty. Some additional decorations or details on the walls would help liven the interior a bit.
I recommend Brewery Vivant for the beer fans looking for a local brewery staple, and the adventurous vegans hoping to try a new dish.
