Do not recommended - Edit
There are a few vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. I ordered the cauliflower burger, but it was not tasty at all. There was an extremely sour taste and a very strong smell of vinegar that even others on the other side of the table noticed. Not enjoyable at all.

Buon panino! - Edit
Mi è piaciuto molto il panino vegetale che ho preso, ottime le scelte proposte. Ovviamente un po’ altini i prezzi (dai 14,7€ in su) ma devo ammettere che era veramente molto buono il panino. Consigliato!

Ok - Edit
I have been to a few of their branches in Ireland and in the UK and the BRU don’t seem to have most of the options compared to other branches?! It’s still a great option if out with non vegans.

Happy to find a place but could be better - Edit
After finding out lots of places are closed on Jan 2nd orrr they close at 3pm we ended up at Brewdog for a late lunch of some vegan burgers.
Read moreSadly they were out of vegan bacon and vegan cheese, both regular and chadder 🤔 that was a shame.
We ordered a chicken burger (that had no cheese by default) and a beyond burger without cheese. The beyond burger came with cheese so we checked if this meant they DID have vegan cheese. Turns out they didn’t and it was regular cheese. The guy serving us was very nice. He apologized and arranged a new burger without cheese.
The burgers were tasty but the price is very steep. Especially when you consider you have to place to order at the bar where, if you’re unlucky you get stuck for a while because someone in front of you is waiting for special cocktails te be made. Or if you forget to order vegan mayonaise (because just like the fries, you pay for that separately too) you have to wait in line another 10/15 min. They could do with a QR system.
Pros: Good burgers, Normal opening hours
Cons: Out of stuff, Order placing at the bar, Expensive

Various vegan burgers, a little expensive - Edit
Brussels is not the cheapest town, so you pay about 15€ for a burger. You can choose between four vegan burgers and many vegan sides. Everything is clearly indicated in the menu. My Burger was good, also were the sweet potato fries. Unfortunately you can't have vegan bowls, they are with meat or vegetarian. Fast service, clubby atmosphere in the Restaurant/Pub. Sauces at the tables.

Great vegan options - Edit
Lots of burgers and side are vegan and they have great beers. We had (for 2) one bacon double cheese burger who was very good, and the plant stack who was a lot too big but good. Not sur about the smashed cucumbers; not our favorite. The bread for burger is vegan but quite dry. Expensive for what it is.

The vegan bacon burger was OK but not worth 17 euros without any sides. I will try again an other time.

Super goede en smakelijke ervaring. - Edit

Just okay. - Edit
I had the vegan chicken burger and french fries. It wasn't anything to write home about. It's also expensive for what it is, although the two-for-one meatless Monday special helps. It's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it could just be so much more flavorful. There are better vegan options in Brussels, but this is fine if you are traveling with people who are not vegan. #Veganuary

It's nice to have so many vegan options, like Beyond Burger and cauliflower wing. It wasn't very tasty though, lacked some flavour. Still a good option when going out with a non-vegan group

Good on Vegan Mondays - Edit
They have several burgers clearly labelled on
Read moretheir menu that you can always order. The
special thing about "Vegan Monday" is that you
get 2 vegan burgers for the price of one,
which is a really good discount 😊 The burgers were good but I would only go on Mondays, because for the full price I would prefer other places
Edit: We came again and tried the cauliflower buffalo wings (medium portion). It was very tasty but the red sauce on them is quiet spicy, so you have to like spicy food or ask for only a little sauce on them 🌶️

Several options, all clearly labelled.

Burgers were good, very nice big place.
Service could have been nicer. I am not a fan of place where you need to get to the counter to order, ask for tissues, etc, and you pay same price as a normal restaurant.

Good burgers - Edit
Went several times to this place and it has always been a positive experience.
Read moreTheir burger and fries size is quite big, not like in some other restaurant offering a plant-based burger but you're still hungry afterwards. Here, my belly is always satisfied.
Their Beyond was good, i like the bun they use and the sauce. It's really fast-food burger-like but without being a fast food (talking about the softness of the bread and tasty sauce)
Buffalo cauliflowers are good too, they are deep fried with spices. Not just cauliflowers cooked in buffalo sauce.
Hail Seitan has a unique taste. You like it you hate i guess. It's indeed a little rubbery but i really enjoyed that pink burger with krispy kale.
Pros: Vegan friendly staff, Different vegan options available
Cons: You must pay to get vegan mayo.

I had the Hail Seitan burger, and it was sooo bad. The patty was rubbery, the bread tasted like perfume and the fries had no taste at all!!! Don’t go here, vegan or not, the food was bad and cold....

I had the clucky this time burger with sweet potato fries. It was good. Nothing amazing. The bun falls apart easily. I substituted regular mayo for vegan mayo. The vegan mayo did have an egg taste to it.

My go-to when it's monday - Edit
For two vegan burgers bought (don't have to be the same ones), you only pay one. It looks like the Hail Seitan burger is polarizing but I definitely like it. I ate/drank there at least 20 times in the last few years and I've never been disappointed. The sweet potato fries are awesome.
Read moreThe place is huge and can be quite animated in the evening, but that was pre-Covid.
Yes it's not cheap, particularly the beers, but it's in front of the central station in the city center of Brussels. Talking about the beers, Brewdog beers are mostly vegans, my favorite ones are the Punk IPA, the Hazy Jane and the Cocoa Psycho when it's available (checked on Barnivore).
The staff could surely be more vegan aware, especially taking into account that they serve so many vegan dishes.
Pros: Vegan mondays (2 burgers bought, you only pay 1), Food is good, Beers choice is awesome
Cons: Beers are expensive, Staff could be more vegan aware

Fastfood type vegan options - Edit
There is a seperate section on the menu with vegan option (or vegetarian - and indication which can be veganised). And also indication next to side dishes which ones are vegan (eg veganise).
Read moreFastfood type dishes like burgers, hot dog, french fries, sweet potato fries.
I ordered the 'soy division' - a vegan hot dog + veganise + sweet potato fries (= 17€, not cheap, but it is Brussels...). The waitress came back to inform me that the hot dog bun is not vegan and they could place it in a vegan burger bun, which was ok for me. Glad that she noticed.
The food was ok. Too much bread for me though. Some more greens or options to order eg a salad as a sidedish would be nice (I don't think it was on the menu).
Large spacious place, lots of outdoor seating too. Some benches which are comfortable, but the outdoor chairs are very uncomfortable.
Service was very friendly and swift. Did not have to wait very long for the food.
Loved the music (they even played Steven Wilson😄)
Toilets downstairs - did not see an accessible toilet. Stairs to get in the restaurant - so not accessible.
Location: it's right across the entrance/exit of the station, on the corner. You can't miss it.
Cons: not accessible

The burger Hail Seitan was terrible! All things in that burger are wrong, I don’t know how I eat it. The staff wasn’t so friendly and for paying we had wait 30 minutes. The worst vegan burger I have ever eat. I only appreciate that they have more vegan things but I think that are all wrong.

I'm glad they now offer vegan food. This said, the burger I had was dry and not so good (the patty being a plain slice of seitan)
Besides, the beers are excellent and the view is worth a break :)
