Location, location, location

Nice to be able to sit on the boardwalk to eat! I’m sad they got rid of many of their vegan options, including tofu as one of the choices for the build your own salad. But I am excited to try the vegan chimichanga! Just wasn’t hungry enough this time around..

*I’ve now had the chimichanga several times and it’s SO GOOD! Even my nonvegan friends love it.

**The vegan chimichanga is no longer on the menu!! Huge disappointment, and this listing has been removed before for lack of options. On this latest visit, I ordered the hummus since there wasn’t much else, and it was a huge portion and quite delicious. You can still modify the Brussel sprouts, and there’s still salads and rice and beans, so I do vote to keep this listing on Happy Cow, as we are a small island and there isn’t much else for us to eat on the boardwalk..

No longer has vegan options

Only vegan options are a salad, a spring roll and French fries.

Pros: Waterfront view

Cons: No real vegan options for a meal

Limited but good

I had the vegan chimichanga and it was so good that I got it again 3 days later. Plus, the service was very friendly and it’s right on the waterfront.

Very Limited menu

Only 3 vegan items available
1. Zucchini tacos with no aioli for lunch
2. Vegan chimichanga only available for dinner after 530p
3. Fries

Nice bar to visit for drinks. Wouldn’t plan on having food there unless you really need to.

Pros: Atmosphere w/music on the water , Drinks are great

Cons: Only 2 vegan options

V options dwindling, but...

The vegan options are dwindling down, but if you come at the right time, the staff are willing to create something for you. Just don’t be in a hurry!
Great Saint Croix local booze drinks and friendly staff.

Pros: Friendly staff, Local beer/booze, Great view

Cons: Vegan options are getting slim

Cool bar with a couple vegan options

Right on the Christiansted boardwalk, Brew Stx is a must go to bar to me. As for food they only serve a few vegan options though. The vegan Chimichanga is good and so are the tacos. They also have a build your own bowl, wrap, or sandwich all of which they offer tofu options.

Pros: Awesome views , Great cocktails, Microbrewed beers

Cons: They no longer serve the vegan eggplant parmesan

Nice Vegan Options

We were thrilled last year or the year before when we saw that this place had TEMPEH on the menu. We can't even get tempeh at any of the vegan restaurants here. It didn't last long though, unfortunately, but later we found TOFU and lots of beans on the menu in "build your own" bowls, salads and wraps. There was even a nice huge sub-type sandwich with tofu. We went again last week and the menu has once again changed, but at least there is still tofu, along with avocado on the menu in the "build your own" bowl and salad section, and there is a VEGAN chimichanga right there on the menu, which was really tasty. It says on the menu that it has vegan cheese in it, but if it contained that, there was only a tiny bit, because we couldn't tell at all. I'm really glad that there is a place on the waterfront that realizes the value of attracting vegan customers.

Pros: Great location, right on the boardwalk, Good micro-brewed beers

Happy it’s here

Bar/restaurant along the boardwalk that serves a few vegan options. Is the food great? No, but it’s decent and a good option if you want to sit along the water and have fun a beautiful view. Waitstaff very apathetic, not really sure why.
