The blueberry tea scone was amazing, and the farmer's sandwich with tempeh and chickpea was so good. I WOULD 100% come back... the only downside is the hours, they close early at 2.

The breakfast was delicious - Edit
The breakfast which was the tofu scramble on toast was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed. I just wish they served it on an actual plate as they serve it on paper on a board, so when cutting to eat, the paper tears.

Best vegan cafe in NOLA. - Edit
I found this place on my last day! Thank goodness! NOLA is not an easy place to navigate for vegans unless you are ok only eating rice and veggies. If you want some protein it’s limited. This place has tofu scramble and a fantastic tofu/garbanzo bean pattie. DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.

A real winner! 🍞 🔔 - Edit
My friends and I went here a bunch of times while visiting nearby. I enjoyed everything I had here; a real treat! This branch of Breads on Oak is smaller than the one at the River Bend, but it still offers lots of choices.

Delicious and filling variety of foods - Edit
I was warned that the food wasn’t as good as I’d expect, but it was fantastic! So flavorful! We had a Mighty Melt and a biscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese…all vegan! The fries weren’t as crispy as we usually like, but they were so flavorful and came with a yummy dip that we loved them anyway. I’ll probably go back again during this trip to try the vegan version of a muffuletta.
Read moreUpdate: we are there all 4 days of our trip. Biscuits with bacon and cheese, blueberry tea biscuits, cranberry Orange tea biscuits, carrot cake tea biscuits, coconut cake, rumbles, muffanadas, coffee and tea. Everything was flawless! We’d be broke if it was near our home.

Don’t miss this place! - Edit
I ate here twice during my weekend in NOLA. Everything was great - flaky biscuit sandwiches, hangover curing ham and cheese toast, baked goods, strong coffee, and the holy grail - a vegan muffuletta! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing! - Edit
I’ve loved the original location and stumbled across this one while staying in the city this past week. YUM! Just as delicious as the original restaurant. Each visit I try new items and this trip it was their vegan muffuletta, hand cut fries with aioli, Boston cream eclair, walnut chocolate chip cookie and a breakfast sandwich. EVERYTHING was amazing. And leftovers were just as delicious the next day.

Literally our favorite restaurant and place in the world! Such a cozy, happy spot with so much heart and soul. The owners are the coolest kindest folks as well. The food gets better and better each visit. Breads On Oak brings us back to New Orleans again and again. We adore this place.
