A real winner! 🍞 🔔 - Edit
My friends and I went here a bunch of times while visiting nearby. I enjoyed everything I had here; a real treat! This branch of Breads on Oak is smaller than the one at the River Bend, but it still offers lots of choices.

Delicious and filling variety of foods - Edit
I was warned that the food wasn’t as good as I’d expect, but it was fantastic! So flavorful! We had a Mighty Melt and a biscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese…all vegan! The fries weren’t as crispy as we usually like, but they were so flavorful and came with a yummy dip that we loved them anyway. I’ll probably go back again during this trip to try the vegan version of a muffuletta.
Read moreUpdate: we are there all 4 days of our trip. Biscuits with bacon and cheese, blueberry tea biscuits, cranberry Orange tea biscuits, carrot cake tea biscuits, coconut cake, rumbles, muffanadas, coffee and tea. Everything was flawless! We’d be broke if it was near our home.

Don’t miss this place! - Edit
I ate here twice during my weekend in NOLA. Everything was great - flaky biscuit sandwiches, hangover curing ham and cheese toast, baked goods, strong coffee, and the holy grail - a vegan muffuletta! I can’t recommend this place enough!

A bit pricey, but totally worth it. The sandwiches are amazing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. They were out of a few things because it was close to closing time.

Great varied menu for both breakfast and lunch. Love the breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The TLTA sandwich is awesome. Only downside is they’re not opened later in the day!

Amazing! - Edit
I’ve loved the original location and stumbled across this one while staying in the city this past week. YUM! Just as delicious as the original restaurant. Each visit I try new items and this trip it was their vegan muffuletta, hand cut fries with aioli, Boston cream eclair, walnut chocolate chip cookie and a breakfast sandwich. EVERYTHING was amazing. And leftovers were just as delicious the next day.

Best Ever! - Edit
Literally our favorite restaurant and place in the world! Such a cozy, happy spot with so much heart and soul. The owners are the coolest kindest folks as well. The food gets better and better each visit. Breads On Oak brings us back to New Orleans again and again. We adore this place.

Tasty Biscuits & Goodies - Edit
I had the signature Pumpkin biscuit sandwich and was very good. Be warned- must eat with utensils. It’s got a light spicy kick. I also tried the Praline Pecan “Béclair” super tasty and rich. I didn’t order a latte but the espresso maker looked kind of chintzy - one of those small ones. It’s a great location located close to Canal St where all the hotels are located. Good sized seating area with a restroom for customers.

Eh.. good biscuits. Could work on customer service. - Edit
Never give bad reviews, the food is great, but the service was pretty [censored]. Asked if there was gravy for the biscuits and was told to go somewhere else. They ran out of tofu scrambler at noon on a Sunday? The vibe just wasn’t positive.. sucks coz it’s my birthday and I was really looking forward to a good brunch experience!

One of the best vegan breakfast sandwiches I’ve had!!! - Edit
100% vegan restaurant in a great location offering several really good breakfast sandwich options. I went with the biscuit tower and added bacon with a side of cheese grits. Both items were better than expected. This will likely be the only place I eat breakfast during my stay it’s so good.
Read morePros: 100% vegan, Clean and cozy spot with no fried food smells, Pretty fast service
