Delicious breakfast and sweets

Everything was great!
I had the pumpkin breakfast biscuit sandwich and it was amazing! The house made sausage is delicious and the potatoes w/ aioli was perfectly flavored.

The cookie and Boston cream doughnut I took to go was also really good. Highly recommend this spot!

Amazing pastries

This place is so worth a visit! Went twice while in New Orleans and had one of the breakfast sandwiches and three types of stuffed brioche donuts and all were delicious.

Delicious pastries!!

I had the pumpkin cheddar breakfast sandwich. It was delicious and filling. I was very impressed by the texture and flavor of the biscuit.

They had several pastries to choose from. I tried the maple coconut donut like one and it was amazing!

I’ll for sure being going back tomorrow!

Pros: All vegan options, Easy to-go, Large variety

Very tasty

The vegan muffanada was very well done! The vegan deli slices were thinly sliced and had great texture and flavor. The pumpkin cheddar biscuit was moist and flavorful. The andouille “sausage” served on the biscuit is field roast Spicy Mexican. The brioche donut was also very tasty. The Boston Cream donut wasn’t exactly your traditional cream flavor, it was very coconutty, but I liked it! It was unique. The only thing I didn’t like were the grits. Not very flavorful. Overall very good and would definitely come back.

Delicious and fast

It was delicious, they have several options and if you eat inside you can actually avoid disposable packaging, so less waste 🙂

Cons: They only open in the mornings

Breakfaslicious

Best pastries 🥐 I have had . Land & Monkey in Paris is on another level. The breakfast sandwiches were busting with so much great flavors & taste. Went here twice. Was here for JazzFest , good that I could dance off the calories. 😂

Pros: Fresh varieties , Breakfast sandwiches , Good coffee ☕️

Cons: Too tempting

Great breakfast spot

Came for Jazzfest and had breakfast here every day. Amazing food and fully vegan. The biscuits and pastries are the best. Dont skip this spot if you need some bomb breakfast.

The best vegan breakfast options I've ever seen

Many veganized options - egg on biscuit, egg cheese toast, muffanada (vegan muffeletta), quiche... Very impressive.

All the vegan things!

We had the creole omelette toast with a side of cheesy grits. And if I could get one of everything I see in this lovely gem of a bakery I would! May have to swing by before we end our trip to NOLA for a Vieux Carre Miche to take home. Drinking a dirty chai here also for my first time and love it. Always supporting the 100% vegan establishments.

Pros: Totally vegan, Creative varied menu, Vegan baked goods

Mind-blowing breakfast

The vegan “buttermilk” biscuits might be the best I’ve ever eaten, and the pastries are to die for!

Vegan muffalettas!!

Before I went vegan this was my favorite sandwich...and it still is. They make a great vegan version of the Muffaletta (they call it the Muffanada) sandwich. We also ordered the vegetable quiche which was really good, but I don't like mushrooms and it had a lot of them, so my bf ate most of it. The eclair was sooo good too! No filling tho. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Pros: All vegan (Muffalettas!), Very friendly staff , Quick service

Tasty sandwiches

We've been here multiple times during our stay in Nola, as this place was very close to our hotel and while most of the other entirely vegan places where outside of the city center, this one is not. We tried the Fancy Farmer, Avocado Scramble toast (my favorite), Roasted vegetable quiche, Egg O'vegan (quite fatty and no greens on it) as well as some of the sweet pastries and hot chocolate.

Pros: Friendly service, Tables and chairs for eating inside, Min. waste for eating inside, no plastic container

Cons: only opened until 2 p.m.

Incredible

You cannot go wrong with Breads on Oak. Everything is well crafted and tasty. The owners are the kindest people who are passionate about creating good, artisan vegan food. If you live in or are visiting the city, make it a priority to scope this place out.

Runs out fast!!

Delicious food, just be careful because they run out very quick. When we got here around 1pm, they were out of the grits, almost all breads and running low on some pastries. The food itself is very fresh and unique. My one note is that I was disappointed my eclair had no filling.

Pros: all vegan , delicious

Cons: sell out quick

Great vegan bakery/cafe

Bread on Oaks has a well thought out menu with lots of variety. The bakery is all vegan and the food is delicious and filling. They also have Espresso and coffee, with limited flavor options that are okay. They are a small satellite location of the bigger main bakery and get their items from them. It's best to get there earlier rather than later in the day before they run out. They close at 2pm.

Pros: All vegan bakery/cafe, Lots of breakfast and lunch options, Fantastic cake

Cons: Expensive, Not gluten free, Closes at 2pm

Best Vegan Breakfast

The best vegan breakfast I’ve ever had. I was visiting for Mardi Gras. I loved it so much I went back 3 days in a row. I loved the biscuit towers. Each was unique and fantastically flavorful. The bakery items were also amazing. My husband (not vegan) couldn’t tell the difference.. The staff was helpful and extremely friendly. They showed me their list of vegan and vegan option restaurants in the area and let me take a picture of the list. So thoughtful of them. The first time I’ve traveled and ate so well.

Pros: Completely vegan restaurant , Extremely friendly and fun staff, Great customer service

Cons: Absolutely None

Egg O’Vegan

It was so hard to decide, that I decided to try a “bacon, egg and cheese” sandwich.
I wish I were in town longer, because that would become a staple!
But I’m excited to try something different the next time! Yay!

Pros: All vegan, Lots of variety , Breakfast all day

Cons: Hours during Mardi Gras were hard to determine

Incredible!

Amazing biscuit! Tofu "eggs" and the "ham" were so good. Why do people eat animals? This was so delicious. Beautiful cafe with chalkboard menu and animal art on the walls. Must have if you're in the area!
