Vegan Oasis in the Black Hills - Edit
Had a good selection of vegan options while we were road tripping through SD. Would shop here often if we were local.

Top notch quality and service - Edit
Amazing little co-op grocery store with superb quality produce and other healthy items which includes many vegan options. What really impressed me were the prices which weren’t fare off from large chains. Highly recommend supporting this local business.

Great addition to Rapid! - Edit
A set in the direction that rapid needed! Has quite a good variety of vegan options including marshmallows, chocolate bars, jerky (my personal fav brand), candies, 'make you're own' yogurt and cheese wheel starters, oatmilk, miyokos cheese, vivo life cheese (many more too), plus lots of frozen beyond options like their brats and such! A MASSIVE bulk section for such a small health store and a nice variety of personal hygiene too. Including a soap refill area to reuse containers!
Read moreThey've even got plenty of ice cream, including these seriously huge ice cream sandwiches that are bigger than my hand.
They have a really cool rewards program that I wish a similar store I worked at in Ohio offered!
Cost $20/year for 10% off initially and then every month, 5% off their locally paired items, and if you special order you get 25% that order. At the end of the year you get a portion of your money you spent back! -per the sales person
Pros: Many vegan options/plus produce!, Bulk spices / tea area /soap refill, Pretty nice rewards card!
Cons: Pretty pricey, Not a lot staple vegan items, A tiny bit hard to get to if not local

Lots of organic and vegan options - Edit
I stopped here to restock my cooler while on a road trip through SD. They had a great variety of organic produce and plenty of gluten free/vegan items. If I lived locally, I know I’d shop here often. They had a lot of mock meats and snacks that I couldn’t find at local grocery stores. Prices are high compared to what I’m used to, but i was willing to pay for it considering I couldn’t find these items anywhere else around here.

A nice natural foods store, but no salad bar or prepared foods - Edit
This store is new and clean, with really good organic produce. The peaches and plums, for example, were from Colorado, and a lot better than I can find in natural foods stores in Maryland.
Read moreThey also had a really nice selection of trail mixes. Prices for power bars were higher here than for the same power bars in Maryland. There were a few vegan cheeses, but they did not have Myoko's or Follow Your Heart. There's also a small area for supplements and personal care products. I was very pleased to see an area where you buy dish detergent, etc in bulk, avoiding the use of plastic containers.
This store has no salad bar, deli, or even prepared foods in a case, such as sandwiches. As a tourist in search of a vegan meal, I could take on day trips to national parks, I found that disappointing.
The staff here is super nice and helpful.
Pros: Excellent organic fresh produce, Helpful staff
Cons: No prepared foods or salad bar, A bit pricey

Decent, but not great - Edit
The vegan options here are focused around "specialty" items, but they lack staples like soymilk. If you're looking for the latest mock meats to try, this is a good spot. If you're trying to pick up basics, they could use some improvement.

Cons: Limited vegan basics

room to grow - Edit
a very small natural market, and they had just relocated, I will double check the address after I post this. Limited selection, but enough options to throw together a lunch on our way to Badlands. If you are in either Dakota, know that options are super limited when it comes to vegan foods.
