High quality food, high prices - Edit
Once you are out of the end of the Palm, there isn’t that many credible vegan places so it’s thrown me into one of these Gordon Ramsey chain places. There is a vegan menu, it only has one main, the cauliflower steak, incredibly tasty but cost £22, came with loads of lovely bread.

Room for improvement - Edit
My first visit to any of these fancy chains.
Read moreI had the BBQ Soy Glazed Aubergine and a simple salad on the side. Together with the bread that came beforehand, it was quite a lot of food. To be honest, I wasn't able to finish all of it, which is an occurrence that doesn't happen often.
The food was of high quality, presented in a appealing way and didn't taste bad, yet, there was still something missing. I can't put my finger on it.
Staff was kind of aware of veganism. But it became pretty clear that they aren't briefed properly. The bread that came as a complimentary appetiser came with butter. The waiter had to ask for assistance higher up the chain, if there was an alternative to butter available (olive oil and vinegar) and if all the breads were in fact vegan.
In conclusion, it was an okayish dinner, but I did expect more, especially considering the high prices. Most of all I missed heartfelt anything, really.
