Delish Dish - Edit
We had menu of the day - an extremely tasty soup, then a buffet style poke bowl with rice, black beans, guacamole etc.

Don’t trust the labels - Edit
Even the items labelled “vegan” come with non vegan, animal products.
Read moreWe ordered the tofu scramble, specifying we are vegan, and got some ghee in a dish. I thought it was maybe apple sauce- Big NOPE. I asked and all the breakfast items come automatically with ghee. They removed it from the plate, but did not replace it with anything, which means when you pay for a breakfast, you pay the full price of cruelty. No apology from the server. Plus the arepa was dry, the v cheese was overpowering- would not recommend this dish at all.
Up side; the tomato soup was good and they serve a complimentary coffee if you’re visiting from out of town. Just ask.
Cons: Los desayunos todos vienen con ghee 🐄 🧈 , Pagas el mismo precio con/sin la mantequilla, No cambian mantequilla para otra cosa

I know. Maybe some people think taking out the milk solids via the process of clarifying the butter makes it- vegan??? 🫠 😮💨

Beautiful place to stay. There are a lot of vegan options! The vegan cheesecake is really good and a big portion! I do not recommend you the cappuccino with soy milk..

Good flavor but not a balanced meal - Edit
I came here on Monday at 1:30 and they had already sold out of the meal of the day. So I came back on Friday at 12:30 in the afternoon and they still had it so I went ahead and ordered. The dining room of this restaurant is very pretty and they have plenty of tables. The ajiaco soup was very good. The main plate came with white rice, a salad made of avocado and tomato, some mushrooms and some sliced eggplant. There was also a tiny piece of cake for dessert. The flavors of the food were good, similar to other vegetarian restaurants in the area. The thing that struck me most is that there was almost no protein in the meal whatsoever. Other than the tiny amount of protein in the rice and the mushrooms the meal was almost devoid of protein. I actually went out and bought a bag of peanuts to eat after eating there because I basically had just filled up on a bunch of veggies. They really do need to think through what they're serving and include some type of protein such as beans, tofu, seitán... anything. I might eat here again but I would very carefully look at the menu and ask questions before I sit down. They've been in business for many years so obviously they're doing something right. Maybe I just hit them on an "off" day, but today's meal was a disappointment for me. The meal of the day costs 12.000 pesos as of October 2018. That's about 20-40% higher than the other veggie places in town.

Pudding de Chía vegano - muchas opciones // Chia Pudding - Lots of options - Edit

Best vege restaurant in Colombia - Edit
BoticaSol is both modern, cheap AND delicious - a combination I haven't found anywhere else in Colombia after more than a year of eating. We liked it so much, we went 3 times in 2 days, and ordered a lot: a burger, a coconut curry, a juice, coffee, vegan cheesecake, tofu scramble, smoothies, springrolls, empanadas, pizza AND a falafel wrap - all yummy, and most between 3-10,000 each. Make sure to check re dairy/eggs - we had to convince two servers that ghee is not in fact vegan.

Plenty of vegan dishes, including the daily menu. At least one vegan dessert: cheese cake with red fruits sauce. Simply delicious!! They also have a good variety of fresh juices. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
