Great

Almost gave 4 stars because my friend's sweet potato fries were something like $8.50 and it looked like they only gave him like 2/3rds of a single small sweet potato, and it wasn't crispy, more like baked. But the food was great overall.

- strawberry swirl (requested no agave) - great 9/10 didn't need the agave, still sweet. Reminded me of berry cream candies
- grilled cheeseburger w/ sweet potato wedges - excellent 10/10
- strawberry cheesecake - excellent 10/10 not too heavy

Very Clean Food!

Our pictures did not do it justice as we just popped by to pickup takeout and then ate in the car… I was impressed with the quality last fall and I feel like it has even improved since we were there!! It was a bit pricey, but worth it!!!

Love the atmosphere

Plants everywhere, adorable paintings and animals on the wall, I loved the look of this cafe. I thought the prices were a little high($7 cookie, $17 sandwich) but the quality of the food is good and everything is gluten-free so I guess it’s reasonable. My only complaint was my family members got the “eggplant sandwich” and it was more like eggplant toast. They were expecting something completely different but it was still yummy, just not as filling as expected

Pros: Adorable space, Friendly staff

Cons: Pricey

Welcome to the Jungle!

This place is amazing. A little hidden gem. When I walked in, I felt so at peace. Plants everywhere. Hanging on the ceiling, on pedestals, on the counter. I was sold already. Then the food, all made from scratch and so so delicious and nutritious. I could have sat and chilled the whole afternoon.

Pros: Kind service, Good food, Amazing atmosphere

Cons: You might loose time chilling

VGF heaven!

Everything on the menu is vegan and gluten free!

An absolutely gorgeous cafe with millions of hours spent creating this beautiful oasis.

The staff were friendly and accommodating as well.

Tried the Mac n cheese which was very good.

The blackened tempeh wrap was pretty good.

Also tried the Buffalo cauliflower wrap which was also decent.

Loved the cinnamon bun!

I got two muffins to go so I'm excited to try them later.

I'd definitely say it worth going to, none of the flavours in the wraps were outstandingly amazing but was all solid and pretty healthy.

I'll be back for sure.

Extremely disappointing since the new management.

I used to LOVE Botanika, but since their new owners came in, the food has become extremely disappointing.

My husband, my mom, and I all ordered lunch the other day, and it was really meh. After being informed that the menu on the website isn’t accurate (and they seemed really blasé about this), we ordered the falafel wrap, cauliflower Buffalo wrap, and Buddha bowl.

The falafel wrap and Buffalo wrap seemed to consist of the exact same ingredients and sauces, except swapping cauliflower for falafel. There was no Buffalo sauce in my wrap (which is the whole point of a Buffalo wrap), and it was drenched in so much ranch it was borderline nauseating. My mom’s salad was unseasoned and meh.

As well, my husband’s wrap had a piece of hair in it, and the two wraps were wrapped so poorly that everything came out after just picking it up, and we had to eat with a knife and fork, which defeats the purpose of something we ordered to specifically eat as a wrap on the go.

It’s a shame, this place used to be amazing.

Pros: Cute atmosphere?, Vegan candy/chocolates at the cash register

Cons: Bland, unimaginative food, Dirty, messy preparation , Website is inaccurate

A Real Treasure

The food is amazing. I had the pulled Mushroom Slider and my friend had the Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap. Both were delicious. Best vegan food I’ve had in a long time. Just wish I lived closer.

Cutest little eatery

This place was the cutest little eatery with several amazing brunch options, beautiful ambience with hand painted walls and charming little details like an embellished vegan toothpick that held my incredibly healthy and delicious breakfast burrito together. Great service, good vibes and a very homey, elevated feel for a counter service spot. Loved it, highly recommended!

Pros: Great ambience & Friendly service , All items are organic, gluten free and vegan, Wholesome delicious food

Cons: Slightly pricey for a counter service spot , But the food is worth it ^

Good (fast) food in a vegan desert

To be sure, there is no difficulty in finding vegan options in any of the local eateries, but actual vegan restaurants seem to have a hard time making a go of it in Ridgefield. There was another vegan "fast food" restaurant in the same high-profile location for several years, but they recently closed. Now comes "Botanika Cafe", which is set up exactly the same way as the previous restaurant, but with a different menu, and it's completely gluten-free. (!!) The food (at least what I've had of it) was very good, but perhaps can use some tweaking. As has been mentioned in another review, the use of a dosa as a platform can be problematic. The dish I had (Buffalo Cauliflower, served in a dosa) should be modified. Dosas make a creative presentation, but should not be used to contain wet ingredients. (That said, the dish itself tasted great!) My wife had a chickpea "tuna" salad on a GF bun, which was very good, but the addition of a few more spices would have elevated it to great. We will definitely go back (soon) to try a few of the other menu items, but in the meantime, i would give the place 3-1/2 stars, which I have boosted to 4 stars (instead of downgraded to 3 stars), since this is a new business, so I'll "cut them some slack"..... for now. (Stay tuned for an update.)

Pros: Good, fast, gluten-free food, Freshly made to order, Friendly staff

Cons: Parking can be tricky on Main Street, Limited seating; may be a problem at peak times

Beautiful food, but under delivered

What an adorable cafe with such kind service.
I ordered the pulled mushroom sandwich , and chicken Cesare wrap made from oyster mushroom, and almond tahini cookie
The cafe is all scratch made, gluten free, organic- I love the concept
The food however- the pulled mushroom sandwich bun was so large, it was hard to bite into - the bread was dry, so it just squished all the insides out. I ate the insides with a fork , on their own and ditched the bread- it ended up being a bit too salty to eat on its own, bread would have helped break up the concentration of flavors. But the bread wasn’t great

The chicken Cesare salad- the cashier convinced me to have it served on a dosa, again it looked beautiful when it came out, but not practical - as soon as I tried to pick it up, the soggy dosa tore and all the insides spilled into the plate- again I ate it with a fork, tossing the dosa, ended up being an expensive tiny Cesare side salad.

Tahini almond cookie- dry as can be, lacking in flavor , needed a gallon of water to wash it down.

I am going to be back to try different things and hoping that not all of the food is lackluster - I really want to like this place!

Pros: Gluten free, organic, Super cute place, Free street parking

Cons: Poorly executed food, Expensive
