fabulous - votes best vegan restaurant in Italy

Had dinner twice and lunch once and everything was just amazing. Seasonal ingredients. Menu is the right mix of vegan and raw food. Service is very hood and very good value for money. Definitely the closest you can get to vegan fine dining.

Pros: ambience, service, food

Most disappointing meal I have had

I had high expectations for this place after finding out that it was or it claimed to be one of the best vegan restaurants in Italy but it definitely is nowhere close. I love healthy vegan food but it needs to have taste. Good and healthy vegan food is supposed be a merry combination of all the right vegetables so that the dish will be bursting with flavours. The quinoa burger had absolutely no taste and I felt bad for my non vegan friend who ordered it. My funghi ravioli and an odd and bland taste. I’ve had a lot of good vegan food in Europe and in Italy and this place was no where close. Not to mention it was expensive too. We didn’t plan on going to this restaurant as they said they were all booked out but then they called backed to say two people had canceled. We went expecting a full house but there were only us.

Pros: Cute decoration

Cons: Bad food, Expensive, Not worth it

"high class" food with disappointing service

We went there for dinner and had one main course. Which is not al lot of food since, this i would describe this place as high class gastronomy (but we already knew that before). In general the food was good quality.
But since it's "high class" we were quite disappointed that first they changed our table right next to the quite loud kitchen (in fairness we did not reserve a table, but our first assigned table was still empty when we left). Then the waitress gave us an old menu, so we got different food than we had orded (and since we didn't want them to throw it away, we sticked with it). The taste was still good, but if i decide to go to a place that expensive, i really would like to get the right menu in the first place. Additionally if such a mistake happens in other restaurants, they usually offer some sort of compensation, which they didn't.

Pros: high food quality

Cons: staff made mistakes , noisy next to the kitchen

Good but expensive!!

The main issue: prices were high for the portion sizes. I had a ravioli dish (a main), and I hoped that for ~€13 plus cover charge that it would at least be a fair potion size. Nope, in fact i coudldn’t help but feel sad when I saw how little there was for the price.
I didn’t leave hungry, but I didn’t leave full either. I didn’t get dessert because I though the same thing would happen.

The food itself was actually incredible, really interesting, and definitely good, specialised vegan food.

Service was also good, comfortable ambiance, perhaps a bit too posh for my liking (but that’s subjective).

Just makes sure your expectations match with what they offer - if you want to pay for a dish and hope that it fills you up, don’t come here. If you’re happy to spend lots of money on lots of different things, go nuts it will be great, and as a poor uni student, I envy you.

Also if you really want to go, absolutely reserve a place. I was very lucky to get a spot when I went in without a reservation.

Pros: Really good food, Good staff, Nice ambiance

Cons: Expensive for what you get

Great Contemporary Whole-Plant-Based Restaurant

Beautiful restaurant, contemporary but cosy ambience inside a beautiful old building with very comfy seating inside and attractive pavement seating outside. Situated in pretty pedestrian walk-through lane a minutes from the main square of Piazza Maggiore.
Menu was in Italian but staff explained in detail what was in each dish, pus English version is on their website.
Food was all really delicious, we had lunch of 2 Buddha Bowls, Quinoa Cous Cous and Rice Paper Vegetable
Spring Rolls with Spicy Peanut Dip followed by Chocolate Banana Cheesecake. Highly recommended - going back for dinner tonight :)
According to certificates on the wall, the chef has trained at a Californian Plant Based culinary school, so the food is delicious and nutrient-dense. Highly recommended.
Dinner update: all really good (Quinoa Burger, Buckwheat Pancakes w. Purple Potato) but the Buckwheat Walnut Apricot Tarte appetiser was amazing!
Definitely has Wow! Factor :)

Pros: Food! (Taste, presentation & nutritional value), Decor, Staff

Cons: Fills quickly at lunch time, Need to book for an outside table in evening as it

vegan dishes bursting with flavors!

Lovely restaurant on a small street in the center with excellent vegan dishes. The ravioli with "ricotta" is amazing as is the cheesecake with fruit topping. The wine is local, bio and fantastic. The staff is so kind and helpful.

Pros: excellent food, lots of options, friendly staff

charming place

We got some food to go - a burger, risotto, and two desserts. The entrees were very light on the salt which was confusing at first but really grew on me. The desserts, which were sort of cheesecake like, were fantastic. Host was very helpful.

Great experience

I went here few days ago and had a good experience. It's a tiny space, cute and friendly, with a high level raw food specialties.
I ordered a healthy pureed pea and mint soup with seeds, falafel with vegetables and spicy sauce, tasteful vegan spring rolls with leek sprouts, and a fabulous chocolate cake.
I loved this place and I'm exited to try more.

Pros: excellent food quality, helpful staff, reasonably priced

Cons: opening hours
