Variety of vegan options - Edit
The famous town for Shakespeare, I visited this town with a non vegan friend and we sat at this place. They're variety of vegan options and I had typical English breakfast! It was tasty and the service was also really nice!

Awesome breakfast. - Edit
I struggled to finish the boss breakfast. An enormous plate of delicious food. A huge mushroom was surrounded. This was not a run of the mill breakfast. Nice touches included semi dried tomatoes - so tasty - sautéed spinach and proper hash browns (not the standard frozen ones). The tofu scramble was lovely but maybe a touch too heavy on the turmeric. The sweetcorn fritter was a nice touch.

Delicious and hearty breakfast - Edit
The vegan breakfast is great here, get a massive filling plate, all of it is very yummy. The tofu scrambled "egg" is surprisingly tasty and fun to try for the first time. Plant milk drinks are all delicious here. Is somewhat expensive, but a quite high end brunch place.

Plenty of choice - Edit
I had the Vegan breakfast muffin which is quite new to the menu. It was tasty but a bit greasy, and it looked a little lost on the plate. I ordered through the QR code but didn’t find I had to leave a tip as mentioned in another review. There were a number of other vegan options on the menu, and vegan cake at the counter. Everything is clearly labelled.

Food was bad - Edit
Massively overpriced for the quality of food. I had mush peas on sourdough (random as hell, but one of the few vegan options) - it was tiny and the plate was covered in cress. My partner’s scrambled eggs had two big chunks of egg shell in it! No vegan options for kids at all.
Read moreIf you want to order using the QR code at the table, you have to put in the tip (service charge / gratuity) before you even see the menu! No option not to tip and if you put in £0 the website crashes.
Do not recommend, not coming here again.
Pros: One vegan option in each section of the menu.
Cons: Food was terrible, Overpriced for what you get, You have to tip before you order if using QR code

We live five minutes from here and wondering why we’ve never been in here sooner. As a child I went to play school here and did Irish dancing here. Yes it’s a crime a dance hall is now a restaurant but the food is amazing. My fiancé has said it’s even better than the food we’ve just eaten in Italy on holiday.

Has a good few vegan options - Edit
I had ‘The Vegan’ breakfast to fuel me for a day of sightseeing and it certainly did. Scrambled tofu, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, and toast. There were healthier options too, and we saw a range of vegan cake too. Great place, spacious and airy, and very efficiently run. Order at the bar or through the QR code. We had no doubts about it being properly vegan. Also had a delicious freshly squeezed OK - very generous size. Coffee was outstanding!

Breakfast - Edit
We can for breakfast and had a vegan breakfast each - had beans, scrambled tofu (which was really nice), hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast etc. All delicious. They also had lots of other vegan options and smoothies. We also shared a piece of coffee cake and it was so nice that we got two more to take away! Lots of space to sit but was quite busy!

Served an non vegan meal - Edit
Spent a while chatting at the til as really only wanted tofu scramble on toast. They couldn’t do this. So opted for vegan breakfast instead. When order arrived I queried what was on my vegan breakfast-that’s scrambled egg says waitress-that’s not vegan then! Order taken back to kitchen for amendment, but confidence in meal prep now zero. Tofu scramble was okay in the end I guess. Several vegan/veggie options on menu. Most plant milk available too. I think I was just unlucky

Cozy, nicely decorated and super eco-friendly place! They have, among other sustainable practices, a system to avoid disposable coffee cups which is great! The food arrives quickly and is quite nice with both vegan and vegetarian options clearly marked.

Lovely place - Edit
Very busy place but I think that shows just how popular it is. Ate there this morning and had the vegan breakfast. I really enjoyed it and am very happy to find a place that caters for vegans at breakfast. Probably a little pricey but comes with the territory I feel unfortunately, but times are changing. I would thoroughly recommend this place.
