The trick is ordering right - Edit
The sausage sanga and the ham & cheese tasted great. Even though I have a pet pieve with ketchup, I forgot to ask the waiter to make mine without it and it still tasted amazing. Sloppy, sure, but I guess that's part of the fun in eating there. Small venue, but enough to seat about 8-10 customers. I'd give them a five, but I do agree that I find two of the sandwiches a bit of a disappointment: a schnitzel that turns out to be just fried tofu that didn't even hear of a marinade before is a lousy and lazy choice for a filling, in my opinion. I went there with friends it they didn't seem to have much taste, part of the reason I didn't order that. So just make sure you ask beforehand how they prepare some things or the ingredients, in case you're not sure what to order.

Tasteless & overpriced. - Edit
Got the club sandwich here and the “chicken” was just tofu, I was so disappointed. Whole thing was totally bland. Have also tried their ham & cheese which was also truly awful. Don’t understand these 5 star reviews! Staff are really lovely just a shame about the food.

Hmm weird. I got the “bacon” one and it was soooo tasty. I just assumed the rest were just as flavorful

It really is crazy how delicious these are! I got the fake bacon one and was absolutely drooling!

Somehow I mentioned it to the waiter and he started helping me, giving me tips, and everyone else in the shop got involved too! This place will always have a place in my heart and I will be sure to go back again soon!

Great food but disorganised - Edit
I had the Reuben sandwich and it was amazing. Unfortunately though I went the next day at 9am but it wasn’t open even though the opening hours said from 8.30. I’d planned my day around that and it’s so hard to get decent vegan food at that time if the morning.

Great sandwiches! - Edit
Came here for breakfast on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! We tried the hot chick and the hangover. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend any sandwich with the house made schnitzel on it. The bread was perfect.

Yummo vegan sangas - Edit
Gorgeous little vegan/vegetarian spot just off Parramatta Rd in Leichhardt. Hard to find a parking spot, and only 8 minutes from Lewisham train station.
Read moreIt's pet friendly 😻🐶 and has a very Eco urban atmosphere.
I had the No eggs & bacon (vegan) with an iced sticky chai in a pot.
Loved both. The No eggs and bacon was super tasty, with crusty bread, tomato salsa, rocket and scrambled tofu. I got almost 3 cups of sticky chai and it was fragrant and full o'spice.
Staff are very helpful and friendly and chatty with patrons.
Perfect place for a birthday treat for myself.
I would definitely come again and try their other offerings. Ruben is highly recommended by staff and is highly popular.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, pet friendly, Lovely staff, Delicious chai
Cons: Slightly expensive, Not many seats

Just Another Pastrami Review - Edit
Everybody else has said it. I'm going to say it too. Eat this super seitan sando! Suppose these blissful beauties weren't served on tasty toast, nor stuffed with salty sauerkraut, russian rocksauce or picolo pickles? Maybe it was a glitch in the matrix and I'm in a bubble eating sand from a machine. --It just doesn't not matter-- I was virtually transported back to my childhood home in Brooklyn, dining in a way that made me feel tremendous guilt for all the poor pedestrians waiting out terrible times when they coulda escaped to frickin suburban Sydney and been feasting on freedom.

Best Reuben - Edit
The best reuben Ive ever tasted (vegan or not). So savoury, flavourful and fulfilling... yet addictive that you NEED more! The saltiness and savouriness of reuben mixed beautifully with crunchy sauerkraut and toasted bread. An omni friend of mine thought I bought her animal meat reuben sandwich, so it is a solid option to bring your doubtful meat eater friends .
Read moreMac daddy was savoury and oniony which I love and definitely enjoy again since im a big onion addict, but definitely not similar to its dairy based counterpart.
The cheesecake works waay better if you freeze them overnight and eat it the next day.
Also had their pie which was kind of one dimensional in taste, so I would not recommend that.
Overall, however, I am satisfied with everything this deli has to offer, the reuben was definitely worth it. Will return
Pros: Reuben super delicious
Cons: On a higher price tag
