Only 1 vegan option that's neither filling nor particularly flavorful - Edit
The $25 vegan bowl is just veggies in a light peppery broth. The veggies are good, but the carrot greens were disruptive, and there was no tofu or any kind of protein or carb to make the dish filling.

Pros: Good atmosphere
Cons: The chefs could do better for vegan customers

Meh - Edit
They have a beyond burger that can be made vegan (with no cheese or aioli). I got the vegan bowl and it was so gross- I’m not even a picky eater. It was this weird green broth with a random medley of veggies and pinto beans- an addition I found especially weird. Also- warning for possible cross-contamination- the stew had a fishy aftertaste, too. I only managed to eat a couple bites and felt too bad to return it- I work at a restaurant and I don’t wanna be super rude and send it back. It’s way overpriced for what it is. Their Brussels sprouts and beet salad (no cheese) are decent, but not that hard to mess up. Major lack of vegan options in Guerneville😒better off going to Safeway and cooking for yourself !

Why even order a veggie burger at this amazing place. The polenta lasagna was great. Dis you even try their soup! Better you go to Safeway!

Expensive and okay - Edit
According to our hotel concierge, this is the fanciest restaurant in town. They had a few vegan appetizers and entrees. We had the Brussels sprouts, which were tasty. The vegan entrees were either a Beyond Meat burger or a herbed green broth bowl with veggies and beans. Since I can get a Beyond Meat burger anywhere, I decided to try the broth bowl. It was okay, but very simple and not the most exciting $19 entree I’ve ever had. I think I would have gotten more enjoyment out of the Beyond Meat burger. Their alcohol is also expensive, with wine by the glass starting around $15. Outdoor seating felt safe and waiters were wearing masks. I don’t know that I would go back, just because I think there are better options in town and the value for price isn’t great.

Delightful place with great options - Edit
Sitting in the garden at Boon, drinking a glass of local wine, and listening to the band play next door was pure bliss. The best salad was fresh and delicious, as was the polenta lasagna. The flavors were totally on point and the chard tasted like it had been picked 10 minutes before. Great for vegetarians, good for vegans. While they have a vegan bowl, my guess is they would be happy to accommodate where possible to veganize other options.

Excellent! - Edit
Excellent food and friendly service in the open air garden. Its expensive, but fancy without being stuffy. However, the only veggie options are crispy Brussels sprouts, beet salad with goat cheese, vegan bowl and truffle fries.
