I came several times as the food was so delicious and the service was very friendly. I recommend the tofu Piadina and the vegan burger.

We recommend this restaurant. Even though there is only about 3 vegan options, they are delicious. We had the large salad with tofu shedded cheese and mushrooms. The greens were mostly micro greens (no boring lettuce- which I appreciated). The dressing was light and tasty. We also had the quinoa, which was super delicious. One of my favorite part of the meal was the bread basket, which they bake themselves every day (vegan). Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yes, there are vegan options in Croatia - Edit
It is not easy to find good vegan options in Croatia (despite veggy Pizza without cheese or a combination of side dishes). So I was very happy to see that this restaurant had a dedicated "Veggy" section in their menu. It is not clearly marked which dish is vegan and which vegetarian but the staff knows what vegan is (the waiter from the restaurant on the opposite side didn't even know the word) and is willing to help in choosing a dish. I had the cauliflower with hummus, which was very tasty. Because of the location this restaurant is not the cheapest one but if you are tired of Pizza and side dishes then this is a good option.

Yes there are vegan options BUT - Edit
The dishes we tried were absolutely underwhelming. Two of them (the zucchini noodles and the quinoa) were basically the same blob of condiments with a different base (zucchini noodles or quinoa). It was heavy, just bathing in lots of this pesto sauce with random toppings (such as a few raspberries?! What does it have to do with the dish?!).
Read moreI also want to add that we had read somewhere that they could veganize one of their other dishes which was a risotto. They would only need to use oil instead of butter and exclude the Parmesan cheese. So I asked the waiter who went to talk to the kitchen staff. Since they have an open window from which the waiter talks to the kitchen staff and takes the dishes to serve, I could see the lady who answered him the whole time they spoke. The simple request of not using butter made her roll her eyes, grumbled and nodded while saying something. So the waiter came back and told us that they could do it “but..” and then looked like he was unsure what to say. We thanked him and decided to order something else, namely those disgusting two dishes I already described, plus two sides.
One was a side salad and then some roasted potatoes. The side salad was supposed to have avocado and, well, it didn’t. I asked the waiter and he went to ask the ladies (who, again, I could see from my table). The one who prepared it looked confused, then they exchanged some words and he came back saying that the avocado was in the dressing. I am 1000000% sure that there was no avocado in the dressing. The dressing was a vinegary/acidic watery one, didn’t look nor taste at all like it would contain avocado. I was offended by the disrespect of not just telling the truth (“I forgot”,”We ran out”). Luckily when I pointed out to the waiter the blatant lie he understood and eventually didn’t charge us for the salad. I appreciated it but I would have appreciated their honesty much more.
All in all, food was bad, kitchen staff was clearly not happy to cater to vegans, the waiter was the only good person there but also didn’t make us very comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend going there

The restaurant is a little bit on the expensive side, but it was worth it for the atmosphere, nice staff, very tasty food and the big portions (both, me and my friend, could not have finished the whole portion).

There are 2 vegan main dishes (listed under "veggie corner" on the card, can be seen in the pictures others already posted).
Also 1 main dish can be made vegan if wished (Risotto with saffron an pistacchios). Just ask the waiters.
A bit pricier but big serving of break.
Would visit the Bookeria again.

We're here second year in a row and the food has not disappointed. They have two vegan options in 2023. No vegan dessert this year, unfortunately, but the chocolate cake I had last year was so good that I had two myself after dinner every night that we stayed.

Read moreI liked both, the burgers were special, very crunchy outside but soft inside, the quinoa was also good but very hot, I would have preferred it cold.
Big portions.
The staff was very nice, they speak good English (no Italian). We split a dish and they brought it in two plates.
Really lovely place with herbs vases, they also have a book crossing cabin.
We paid 70 euros for 3 dishes, wine and water, it's not high for this town.

We ordered the quinoa dish and the polpette. The quinoa dish was nicely presented but very bland. The polpette was nice but a very small portion. We chose the additional „tofu cheese“ for the polpette with turned out to be just cold smoked tofu.

The vegan options are more limited in the off season, but what they have available is still delicious. Nice flavored combinations, and the veg quinoa starter particularly was an original flavor combination that worked really well.

It’s a very good looking place, quite colorfull and right in the center of rovinj. They have four different fresh smoothies with plant milk. Perfect for the hot summer days. Sadly, they don’t have any vegan food options at breakfast. Still, a nice place to freshen up.

Quite expensive for the quality and size of portions. I took the kale & quinoa burger. However those patties were not available today and I got (quite apparently) veg patties from the grocery store frozen food section. Ok burger but nothing special. Would not order again. My friend took the veg salad. It was nice (although tofu cold-uncooked) but smalll.

I ate here twice for breakfast. Both times I got the brucetta with no cheese and I got a strawberry smoothie with almond milk. 2nd time I tried quinoa with apple and cinnamon...not sure if it was a mistake that they put lemon juice on it but it tasted horrible. Went for dinner once and got the seitan loved it
