Good and filling burrito

The vegan options aren’t bad - you can get vegan bean chilli and fajita veg with guac which is pretty much what I’d look for in a burrito.

It would be great to have vegan burritos labelled more clearly when delivered just to avoid any confusion, but you can piece it together from the number on the foil compared to the order history.

I once got a burrito here when I was really hungry and it was so good my twin in Dublin started craving a burrito for the first time in years without knowing why…so it’s a pretty good shout when you need a quick, filling meal with a dependable vegan option!

Pros: Quick , Filling

Nice vegan options although witnessed quite a bit of cross contamination first hand, meat juices dripping into the vegan meat when lifting over the trays #Veganuary

Pros: Cheap, Good options

Cons: Cross contamination

Nice, but expensive

The burritos are good, but I find them too expensive, I could have a Subway for cheaper, so that's what I normally opt for if I fancy a wrap or sandwich. The Lisburn Road branch would have the best staff imo, didn't rate the Botanic branch much

Burrito bowl

Have always been a fan of boojum, portions are pretty big and can sometimes do for two meals! This time
I had the burrito bowl - it doesn’t look like much from photos but it’s all layered - two different types of beans, vegetables, rice, guacamole, corn and salsa. Really filling and for fast food it feels healthy.
I’ve heard that sometimes they get meat substitutes in but I didn’t see any when I was in.

Very popular NI chain

Not too bad value, veggie burritos are about £7.99 and are quite a good portion. There’s 3 bean chilli now, which is vegan (no vegan meat). Occasionally too they get “plant based” meat substitutes for limited runs- usually though there is no such option.
The one criticism I have is, the way that the food is made, many times over the years I’ve seen meat floating in the sauce servers the staff use, and occasionally I’ve had a lovely chunk of chicken or meat make its way unnoticed into my burrito… So my advice is, keep an eye on your food as it’s being made!

Pros: Big and bouncy

Cons: Meaty beaty

Good cheap option

Cheap, handy, quick, tasty and filling. Love their vegan bean options.

Only tiny concern is that I worry about meat dropping into the beans as they fill the wraps/bowls so quickly! Haven't seen it happen though.

Really needs to up it’s vegan game

The range of options simply isn’t there. The vegan chilli is decent but gets stale after a while, especially when the complimentary guacamole is skipped on delivery. Quality is becoming a little inconsistent but to be fair, when it’s good, it’s really good.

Pros: Rice and veg options great

Cons: Becoming a little overpriced, Inconsistent quality , Nowhere near enough vegan options
