Serves meat, vegan options available. BBQ restaurant with labeled vegan options including a BBQ chickpea sandwich & Mexican Black Beans. Open Tue-Fri 11:00am-8:00pm, Sat 11:00am-9:00pm.
I was shocked to find cauliflower tacos and a chickpea BBQ sandwich here. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious, slightly spicy for me but I still liked it.
The cauliflower tacos and black beans taste great. They recently changed how they prepare the black beans - I think for the better. Before it tasted like they were doused in lime juice, but now it's much more tame.
The chickpea BBQ is alright and I'll still sometimes get it when I want some variety.
I'm surprised they don't have any jackfruit options, though.
For a long time, their vegetarian/vegan options were their veg-head tacos. I believe they came with a ranch, so to make them vegan, I swapped for a barbecue sauce. They have since removed them from the menu and added 2 vegan entrees and vegan slaw as a new vegan slaw side.
Vegan entrees:
1. Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos - THE BEST TACOS IVE EVER HAD! They come with slightly crispy and charred cauliflower covered in buffalo sauce, vegan slaw, and a guacamole sauce. I get the beans as a side.
1. Chickpea BBQ Sandwich - okay so for this one, the flavor is good. I like their bbq sauce. However, the chickpea patty is really soft. I was expecting a firmer patty, but you bite through it like butter. An odd texture for a sandwich.
Vegan Sides:
- vegan slaw (make sure to request vegan slaw as they also have a vegetarian creamy slaw)
- Tex- mex beans (my go-to and delicious)
Fries are made in a shared fryer as fish and other meat products, so not 100% vegan/vegetarian if you care about that.
The mac and cheese size has meat in it, I’m pretty sure (so not vegetarian). If you are vegetarian, I would ask and clarify. I’ve been to catered events and it’s always had bacon in it.
I was in the area visiting family for about a week. This area is basically a vegan desert. I was really excited to find not only a vegan option, but something labeled as vegan! And at a BBQ place of all places!
They have a chickpea sandwich and Mexican beans as labeled vegan. The fries are technically vegan, but they use a shared fryer, so they don’t label them vegan.
I was pretty disappointed with the sandwich. It wasn’t horrible, just super bland. I expected more in flavor from a BBQ place - which rely heavily on yummy spices and sauces in general. I asked for extra BBQ sauce and that seemed to do the trick. However, it was something that I was sure was vegan - so that did help!
The fries, on the other hand, were incredible. Some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Double fried and crispy. Yum!
I think they have potential to get better. Just use some of the BBQ rubs / spices in the chickpea patty!

Pros: BEST CAULIFLOWER TACOS, Casual atmosphere , Friendly staff - owner always open to feedback
Cons: Chickpea sandwich is OK , Shared fryer, Small/limited seating
