The kolhapuri vegetable, okra, and chana masala are all fantastic. Be prepared to sweat from some serious heat, though! Would give this 5 stars if I could.

I have been on the hunt for an Indian restaurant in DC with great flavor and a spice level that is actually spicy. I have asked for 5/5 level spice at several restaurants in the area and have received food that is either not spicy at all or just mildly spicy. Bombay Street Food hooked it up!! Their vegan kolhapuri vegetable and aloo gobi dishes were very spicy, super flavorful, and well balanced. It was the best Indian I have had in the area. The roti was great too.

Such a flavorful and solid option for takeout, haven’t dined in person but it’s super impressive and I can’t wait to go. I’ve tried every dish on the vegan menu and I really loved them all.

Service is super friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere friendly. It’s nice to have the vegan meals specifically labeled. When we went, my partner asked for vindaloo, which comes with meat, but they were able to accommodate and make it vegan.
