Pleasantly surprised here

I've been here for the lunch buffet several times with family and friends, and every time we are all blown away by how good the food is. And we're all Indian food veterans (for Americans, anyway). Seriously, the flavors are all unique and well-balanced, and the majority of the buffet dishes are vegan. I thought I had tasted all that Indian food had to offer, but this place has opened me up to new possibilities. For example, they have curries featuring squash, black garbanzo beans, and other items that I had never seen in Indian food, all done to perfection. And for HALF the price of comparable restaurants. Plus, we have little ones who inevitably make messes, and the staff have always handled it with a smile and welcomed us back.

Pros: Excellent food, Unique flavors, Courteous and attentive staff

Cons: Small, Closed between lunch and dinner

Excellent Indian Food

The place doesn't look like anything special, but it's some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Absolutely delicious good in healthy portions - though the naan was bigger than expected!

Small & large groups can be accommodated, & the staff are very helpful.

Beside the door & tables being wheelchair-accessible, I don't know how disability-friendly it is.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly, helpful staff, Wheelchair-accessible tables

Cons: Slightly shabby decor

love the vegan focus but needs flavor

Love the vegan focus at this vegetarian Indian place but bit lacking in the flavor depth aspect. Have had a great red coconut curry type tofu dish that brought me back but buffet has lacked great flavor past few times I've been in over the past year.

Not spicy enough for me!

We've been trying to like this restaurant as it's convenient and has good parking. The staff is very friendly and other than the old carpet (from the previous owner) the place is clean.

Each time we go to the lunch buffet, I tell the owners the same thing: Nothing is spicy enough....it's like baby food! I remind them that there are dozens of authentic spicy/flavorful Indian restaurants all over the area. They said that they want to 'dumb it down' for the American palette. I told them that people who don't care for Indian cuisine, won't be coming and the other, want the REAL DEAL. They always suggest that I add hot sauce but it doesn't taste as good if the wonderful spices aren't added at the time they are cooked. The flavors are good, but everything on the menu is very bland.

We did go once for dinner (no buffet then) and were able to order our food using the 1-5 star system for spiciness. Delicious.

Pros: Good location, Friendly staff, Completely vegetarian

Cons: Bland food.

We enjoy it here

A veggie cafe, they try to denote vegan options, though some are not correct, like paneer, for some reason. Otherwise though, the food tastes real and most of what we have gotten has been above average.
The staff is helpful and concerned and friendly.
Parking isn't an issue and it is right on the 90.
They accommodate our funky issues and are always happy to do so.
Better than most of the spots you for some reason list in Bvue though they aren't close to being vf.
