Serves meat, vegan options available. Quick service style Indian food restaurant. Offers a few veg choices. Relocated from 601 N College Ave. OCT 2014 REPORTED SHUT, CONFIRMED BY ITS FB.
Bombay Cafe has the best Indian food in Bloomington, with good vegetarian options. Its owner is a really helpful and friendly person who personally greets guests, and often involves people in a conversation. He takes pride in the quality of the food. Bombay Cafe, for example, is the only local Indian restaurant that does not use eggs in their naan. Eggs make naan preparation easier, but they are not a part of the traditional recipe, and are objectionable to many vegans.
I heartily recommend Bombay Cafe to any vegetarians out there. The only reason I gave Bombay Cafe 4 stars is because of Happy Cow restrictions on non-veg restaurants. If I could, I would give them 5 stars as they are truly friendly to vegetarians as many Indian restaurants are.

Pretty good - Edit
The food is pretty good. There are always 3 vegetarian and 2 vegan entrees. Sometimes the vegetarian entrees end up vegan and then there's even more!
Read more*** The naan contains yogurt, ask for vegan roti
It's really unfortunately that everything they use is disposable - I'd go here more if I didn't have to waste a plastic tray every time.
If you want something spicy, they have a ginger garlic sauce you can use.
Pros: Tasty, Different daily options
Cons: Disposable plates and utensils
