Great Atmosphere, Good Food

I had dinner with some omni colleagues a couple of days ago. Although many dishes in the menu are vegetarian by default, the majority are veganizable, so BodhiGreen is very vegan-friendly.

To start, the menu was a bit different from the one they have in their homepage. For instance, we had a trio of dips w/raw vegetables, a burger and a "sushi" bowl which were not in that menu. Other people had the pizzas.

While I enjoyed the burger, the dips were ok, nothing memorable. And, from what I heard, the bowl was also good; however, it could've used some more nori or more japanese ingredients.

The staff was friendly, the service was relatively quick, and the atmosphere (once people started to arrive) was also pleasant.

By the way, we made a reservation for 20.30; however, people started to arrive around 21.30; so, while reservations are recommended, if you happen to arrive earlier than "normal" Spanish dinner times, you might still find a table. :)

Pros: good food, nice atmosphere, most dishes are suitable for vegans

Cons: not all vegan

Great variety, good for different dietary requirements

Went with a friend who is gluten and dairy-free. At first she was hesitant because the menu on the website seemed to suggest she could only eat the salads; however, when we arrived they had a full allergen menu and it turned out she could eat loads of stuff! There was a really good variety of dishes, both in terms of ingredients and also different styles of food and flavours. It's slightly pricier than a lot of places but I don't mind paying a bit extra to support a vegetarian business and to get well-cooked, locally sourced food - and it's a proper restaurant rather than a cafe. It's very popular - we arrived on a Saturday night without a reservation, on the dot of opening at 8pm, and managed to get a table on the condition that we finished by 9:30 pm. Not a problem for us as we don't really like eating late anyway, but those who prefer the Spanish approach to dinnertime may want to phone ahead!

Love the food and the atmosphere

The food is delicious and they have lots of different vegan options (in all sections of the menu). Every vegan meal or meal with a vegan option is marked on the menu which makes it super easy.

The atmosphere is really lovely, the restaurant itself is very pleasing to the eye and the omnis I went there with were all super impressed as well.

It was quite full when I was there (a tuesday in february) so if you are more than two it's probably a good idea to make a reservation.

Pros: Great food, Nice atmosphere, An actual restaurant (as opposed to café-like)

Healthy but pricey

I have been to this place twice. And it is OK. The food is really good, fresh, healthy, as it is supposed to be. The decoration of the meals, such as of the entire local, is very eye-pleasing. However, BodhiGreen has some downsides. The portions are not really big for their price, so it is not recommended when you are really hungry. Also the waiters aren't nice at all.

Pros: healthy food

Cons: expensive, waiters, small portions

Platos sabrosos

Cons: Medianamente Caro

delicious

Incredible vegetarian/ vegan restaurant in Alicante. Every table was packed and rightly so, the food was great. We had the pate sharing dish and nachos to start. I had the deconstructed sushi bowl for main which was great, although a few too many flavours for my personal taste. I had the chi coconut mango passion fruit dessert which was phenomenal. A must for a veg/ vegan!

Pros: lots of vegan options

Cons: need to make a reservation

Excellent!

Popped in here with my wife and 15month old daughter on a Saturday afternoon. We didn't realise how popular they were as most of the tables were reserved. It was also quite upmarket and we felt slightly under dressed! However the helpful waiter managed to find us a table provided we weren't there for hours, which was fine. Food arrived fairly quickly and was both well presented and very tasty, appealing to us and the toddler. Was a holiday visit but we both agreed we would definitely go again if coming back to Alicante!

Pros: generally great

Cons: popular, might need a reservation if a busy time

Excellent food and service

We went for dinner last night and had a nacho starter and an aubergine roll starter, both delicious, the nut cheese on the nachos was really good. We both had amazing salads for mains, good portions too! The vegan raw cheese cake desserts made any need of dairy unnecessary as they blew us away with flavour and originality! Bravo Bodhi green, we will be back for lunch tomorrow!

Pros: Excellent well priced food, Beautiful ambiance in restaurant, Great friendly service

Cons: None!

High standard meals with vegan gluten free options

Bodhigreen restaurant provides excellent quality food of a high standard, in a calm and sophisticated space. The meals are of an international standard using tasty and contemporary sauces, flavours and a variety of healthy and interesting food combinations. All the dishes were generously sized, very good value and beautifully presented by a friendly waiter. The salads, tofu, soups, tempeh, nachos, curries, juices and desserts were all delightfully delicious. I would recommend everything! ...especially the salads, tofu, borsch, pakoras, curry and gf chocolate brownie! A lovely surprise for very fussy vegan gf customers! Thank you Bodhigreen!

Delicious, fresh food - must try!!

My partner & I are not vegetarian but decided to give this restaurant a go while we were visiting Alicante. The restaurant is brand new and we were both blown away by the beautiful interior design of the restaurant.
We had the nachos, pakora, the chickpea & spinach curry, moussaka and a juice each for our dinner, and also shared a brownie for dessert. Each meal was delicious, colourful and flavoursome!
This restaurant is not to be missed while you are in Alicante!

Pros: Excellent food, Good value for money, Nice vibe

loved this place

Great to have a proper vegetarian restaurant in the centre of Alicante barely one street back from the main promenade. Open for lunch and evenings with great service but more importantly, great food. All types of cuisine is featured indian, italian, thai and good old fashioned burgers and pizzas. Good portions nicely presented and tasted great! Loved it and will tell all our friends and family and will visit every time we are in Alicante

Pros: great setting and location, colourful and tasty food, good service
