Loved this restaurant! Desserts are amazing would recommend trying the pandan coconut cake. My favourite was the barbecue buns they were so yum! The vegan calamari was so realistic I almost couldn’t finish it! Definitely coming back ❤️

Expensive, but amazing! - Edit
Yum cha service - like a buffet, where servers go around with serveral menu options and you pay for each dish individually. I'd especially recommend the tofu curry, the crab fritters, and the mushroom dumplings. Great ambiance as well when sitting outside.

Excellent food and service - Edit
Bodhi was a foodie highlight of my visit to Sydney, and Australia overall. The food is delicious and creative, the restaurant is lovely, and we had great service. We went for lunch and dinner. It is very expensive -- some items are better value than others (like the chikin skewers and amazing taro gnocchi) but I definitely recommend it.

Tasty but so pricey - Edit
Have eaten here before a couple of times when I’ve visited Sydney and I swear the prices have gone up dramatically- it was never cheap but on this occasion I spent $90 and had only four small plates, a drink and dessert. The small plates were delicious but really small - I had a couple of different pancakes that were gone in two bites, a mock duck bao bun I made to last for three bites and some corn ribs. The dessert was the most disappointing as it was very small for $20 (!!) but also described itself as a coffee brûlée but there was only the tinniest scrap of toffee and the main element was more a panacotta than the fillings for a crème brûlée. The staff were friendly and as always the setting was beautiful but not sure I’ll rush back unless I have a lottery win!

Yum cha - Edit
Is rare to find vegetarian yum cha. But so expensive. I go to other yum cha in the city and ask for vegetarian dish, which is tastier and a lot cheaper.

Spend your many somewhere else and be happier - Edit
The staff seemed to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. They definitely did not know how to smile and were quite unprofessional. They seemed to be stressed, and came over all the time to offer the same dishes we just said no to a minute ago.... I paid $40 for my lunch and I was still not full. Expensive for what you get. None of the food was amazing or even good, but rather ordinary or flavourless. I would not go again and I would recommend you to go and spend your money somewhere else.

The Best ! - Edit
Went to dinner at Bodhi yesterday evening.
Read moreFrom booking over the phone to paying our bill and everything in between. Could not have been easier. The lady who answered the phone was so friendly. The wait staff were lovely, polite, busy and patient. Been here before quite a few times but not for a long time. And a different menu. We were a bit worried that it might not have been as good. Wow wow wow. The food was great. Great value for a high end type restaurant. I could hear other diners commenting on their delicious dishes also. Two adults, two teenagers, all vegan, we were so happy. Only con would be that we thought the desserts were too pricey. We ordered two, nice, but not great value. We could not afford four desserts@...$80. Mum and dad missed out.
Pros: Taste, Staff, Easy booking
Cons: Desserts too expensive

Amazing yum cha!! Lots of options and all vegan, which means you don't have to worry about sneaky non vegan ingredients. Especially loved the rice noodle folds and dumplings. The seating is gorgeous in an oasis of calm in the middle of the city.

A friend recommended me this place to try and said it was the best yum cha around Sydney. I COULD NOT HAVE AGREED MORE. Yum cha here is GREAT and perfect for vegans. My favourite vegan yum cha place - Edit
We have been going to Bodhi probably since I moved to Australia and it has always been my favourite yum cha place. We had Vegan Society NSW lunches here, we took our non-veg friends there (they loved the food as well), just popped in for dinners on the way to a concert or for lunch on the way to the art gallery. My favourite Bodhi food is always BBQ not pork buns. Highly recommended! And the other thing I recommend is their mocktails.

Wow this Place is Just incredible! In fact my friend recommended to try it for lunch which was a yum-cha, so we tried the most incredible vegan won-ton and lots of different dumplings, little pancakes and much more - since it was so great I couldn’t wait to show my partner and met him there the same day for dinner for à-la-carte. The vegan chicken sliders and duck pancakes were so so good! I even asked if they were really vegan. Also love the location in the park. Must try!
