Good selection of reasonably priced food. Away from the touristy hustle and bustle, and refreshing to see some more local dishes. Nice and chill inside too. Timed it with a visit to the museum which is a short walk away

Yummy - Edit
Do not order the coconut milk pudding! That was a real miss, the Japanese Onigiri platter and pancakes were very nice though. Next time I would definitely try the Balinese nasi campur or any of the Indonesian dishes. They also sell some vegan products

It was such a delight to come across this wonderful fully vegan cafe. Such a variety of dishes on the menu. Owner has been vegan for 18 years herself.

Just fine - Edit
We tried the new dishes on the menu: quesadilla and black Javanese soup - they were just fine, nothing that would change my life.

Yum! Delicious & fresh! - Edit
Our first stop after arriving at the airport. The bibimbap was SO GOOD! As was the onigiruzu plate. We tried the vegan ice cream too (which was mediocre, a bit icey, not made in-house).
Read moreThe cafe is cute! The staff is kind. And the food tastes really fresh and delicious. They also offered fresh coffees and teas which looked good (we didn’t try this time) and some snacks and vegan eco goods for sale. The menu seems extensive and worth exploring.
It’s easy to find and is a great stop if you’re in Denpasar or passing through from the airport. We hope to come back! 😋
Also, they do take credit card. (Not cash only.)

The food is sooo tasty. Very fresh, lots going on! The place is clean and there are amazing vibes, especially love the colourful pillows. 100% recommend.
Read more*I would note however, that the shop was kinda disappointing…expensive dark chocolate and snacks, there could be more on offer I felt.
Pros: Cheap and fresh , So much variety in the dish, Extensive menu

Tasty, sometimes misleading - Edit
Bodhi Leaf is a small cafe with a salad bar and large, diverse selection of vegan meals from around the world. Your best luck is sticking with Indonesian and Chinese dishes.
Read moreThe Soto soup was generous in size and flavorful, however the “Green Thai Curry” was certainly green but hardly Thai and Curry. It’s as if the chef had never eaten a Thai curry before—no coconut milk, gangal, lemongrass, basil, and chili. It tastes good if you’re looking for more of a pesto-like vegetable stew. The papaya salad contained no papaya and the rice crisp tasted more like a Mexican torta.
Overall, it’s a great place to get vegan food, just be wary of the accuracy of non-Indonesian food descriptions.
Pros: Large, diverse vegan menu, Fresh ingredients
Cons: Food title can be inaccurate, A bit pricey (plus parking fee)

Best vegan Nasi Campur in Bali - Edit
Exceptional value for money. Very tasty, generous portions. Great thing about the Indonesian food is that you control the level of spice as the sambal is on the side. Got a take out falafel wrap for the airport too, which was also yum and packaged well.

big menu! - Edit
Cosy restaurant with a little shop along the wall (nuts, protein powder, etc.) It's not a bad place to eat in Denpasar, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this.
Read moreI've been here a few times; the portions are not very big, taste is slightly above-average. But the ingredients themselves are pretty good, and it's a good place to rest from the outside crazy roads.
In Ubud, there's much better things to eat for this same price, or cheaper. My meal pictured was 53k, Liwet Platter. The sambal kemangi had very very very little kemangi...
The cakes look ok though, maybe I'll try that, if there's a next time.

Healthy, delicious, not a ripoff - Edit
Bodhi Leaf is like a taste of Ubud in the center of Denpasar. Food was fresh and delicious and the servings were generous. I went with my Indonesian partner, who is quietly skeptical of veg places (most don’t cook vegetables as well as the local non-veg warungs). He was impressed by his Kimlo Soup and also my Macrobiotic Plate. We both loved the decadent Choco bowl for dessert. The food here is a good mix of touristy health food and local ingredients/flavors.
Read moreWe will definitely be back to try other menu items and grab some Ubud Raw Chocolate from their fridge. A little pricey for the area, but still a good value.
Pros: Delicious and healthy food, Generous portions, Small but good grocery selection
Cons: Expensive for Denpasar

Not that authentic food - Edit
We were surprised to see quinoa sushi and bimbap bowl on the menu so we ordered both. Both tasted ok, but not very authentic. The sushi was served with a soy oil sauce which was too salty, also the "wasabi" tasted artificial. The sushi itself had an interesting twist with the quinoa, cucumber, carrot and tofu.
Read moreThe bibimbap was good, only thing missing here was traditional korean rice, they used red rice.
Pros: Wifi, nice place to sit
Cons: Not authentic
