Pretty yummy! - Edit
Really enjoyed the heavenly noodles…it was a vermicelli dish with mock beef. The “beef” spring rolls were also amazing! Recommend the treasure buns too. The Vietnamese coffee was amazing! Probably wouldn’t order the happiness noodles again because while broth was tasty, it had an interesting smell that was a little hard to get past. Overall though, very good and most of menu was vegan or could be made vegan (clearly marked either way).

Best vegan bun bo hue - Edit

Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol.
The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too.
The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.

Excellent food, huge portions - Edit
Definitely one of my favorite Asian vegan restaurants in Sacramento. It's kind of tucked away, so it can be easy to drive past and not notice. It's consistently good and the staff is always very nice. The spring rolls are to die for!

So much food I had leftovers. Taste is fantastic, fresh and not too spicy. I will definitely come back.

Tasty & consistent - Edit
Bohdi Bowl is a go-to for us, it’s very consistent and always tastes great. There are less items available for take-out so I recommend sitting down to eat there. The “Compassionate Bun” is delicious, as well as the lemongrass faux chicken entree (forget what it’s called). We has a similar spot near us in the last city we lived in (vegan, Buddhist, no onion and no garlic) and Bohdi Bowl is WAY better. The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious.

Five Star - Edit
All the dishes are without onion and garlic. Open early. Accessible parking spaces. Big portion with fair price. The owner is super nice. She let me taste the sauce making sure I think it’s ok. We are really glad we came to this place for brunch.

Like good vegan Vietnamese street food - Edit
This place kind of reminds me of Vietnamese street food in vegan form. I had the drumsticks, which were unexpectedly breaded, but were served with fresh jalapeno slices and do chua along with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The drumsticks had some flavor that I didn't particularly love, but there were okay. For my entree, I had a noodle bowl that is basically like bun bi, or spring roll noodles, without the spring rolls. That was pretty good, and my friend like her bun hue noodle soup. Overall, not too bad and feels like authentic Vietnamese street food.

Yea, Yea, Yea! - Edit
Yea! Yea! Yea! There is another reasonably priced, great vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento with many gluten free delights and great flavored items on the menu! My very happy and humble blessing to Buddha! I ordered the ‘Quang Style Noodles’ and my partner ordered ‘The seven Treasures’; both were fantastic. I just love those combinations of flavors that only the Vietnamese seem to be able to produce. AND, the owners are absolutely delightful to talk to and helpful with the menu.
Read moreAll in all the meal was a very pleasant surprise and we will be going back (although I was a little embarrassed on the speed my partner put away the meal).
On a side note: "Bodhi" is a Sanskrit word that means "awakened" or "enlightenment". The Bodhi tree was so named because the Buddha attained the awakened state or enlightenment under its spreading canopy.
Pros: Fantastic Food Flavors, Very Friendly Staff and Owners, Competitive Priced!
Cons: There should be more of them.

Good vegan food in Florin area - Edit
We've been here a few times and the food has been consistently good/great. The service goes above and beyond to greet us and inform us of their dishes. Our personal favorites are the Compassionate Bao (vegan duck with buns) and Pho (traditional soup). There are a few items on the menu that aren't vegan, so be sure to ask your server.

Cons: not all vegan, not the best area
