Neighborhood vegetarian cafe serving toasties, cakes and filter coffee (with soy milk), some of which are vegan, plus there might possibly be other items that could be made vegan upon request. Scandinavian-inspired design, with vintage furniture shop downstairs and a small food shop in the cafe. Open Mon-Sun 08:00-17:00.

Great toasties - Edit
Lovely little place. Toasties we had were delicious and there's a good selection of cakes and pastries (all vegan when I visited). Friendly staff

Lovely cafe also sells groceries - Edit
Very friendly with a good range of tasty things to eat alongside excellent coffee. They also sell a range of groceries and fresh sourdough bread.
Read moreThe person who gave them a negative review gives every place that isn’t 100% vegan a negative review. That’s an unfair reflection of this cafe which offered vegan options before most other cafes in the area. The owner has a young family to support so he has to sell a range that draws in enough people to do that.
Pros: Vegan options, Sells sourdough bread and other groceries

Horrible cafe - Edit
The owner of this cafe is a mean and stubborn man. Even though many other vegan businesses are thriving he refuses to stop profiting from the torture and sexual abuse of animals in the dairy and egg industries.

Cons: Owner is a mean man , Profiting from animal abuse , Really horrible atmosphere

Cute and delicious - Edit
Really lovely cafe with a small but good range of options. I had the Broccoli and Lentil stew, which was delicious. Coffee was the best I’ve had since I got to the UK a couple of weeks ago

Very cute cafe! - Edit
My husband and I came here for breakfast our first day in London. It is a tiny cafe with a pretty large menu. They had fresh breads out, so we decided to get avocado toast and coffees. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and my husband had an espresso. The staff was really friendly and asked us where we are from and chatted about the area. Overall, the food was pretty good and we would definitely come back if we were in the area.

relaxed and friendly atmosphere - Edit
Very much a community cafe where people say hello to each other, it has extremely good coffee and tasty food. Mostly vegan and always beautifully handmade.

Cute but pricey coffee shop - Edit
Went here with a mate. Tucked away on a side street. Small, cosy, friendly. Coffee was outstanding. Avocado and tomato on toast was exactly as described, but on excellent bread. Slice of iced carrot and coconut bread was lovely. But three coffees and a coconut water and avocado toast and a slice of cake was nearly twenty quid. Bit of a ripoff for what it was. Would return if in the area though.

not too impressed - Edit
Its nice to see veggie places popping up on street corners even in yuppie enclaves like N16 but this place was a bit of a disappointment. Word of mouth and reviews had made it should like a little vegan golden secret. Instead the choice for vegans was limited, the prices high and the food uninspiring when it arrived. The tea was ok.

Pros: Small and cosy.
Cons: Pricey, limited vegan options

Lovely neighbourhood cafe, amazing toasties! - Edit
Visited frequently since December 2014.
Read moreSmall neighbourhood cafe which is all vegetarian and mostly vegan. Great casual vibes, has wifi if you need to get some work done too. But much better suited to a book or morning paper.
Hot food includes a range of toasties and a soup of the day. Food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. Great coffee too, supplied by Climpson & Sons.
Sandwiches, cakes and pastries also available.
There is also a resident dog Bruce who always gives me a smile. And he has his own chair. King of the cafe!
One of the best in East London - highly recommended!
Pros: Chilled vibes, Reasonably priced, Toasties

Great almost vegan cafe - Edit
Great almost vegan cafe (serves cows milk and butter for toast + croissants).. Does not advertise itself as vegan at all, but all cakes are vegan (from Manna bakery), as are the toasted sandwiches, salads and soups. Also a small shop serving various vegan groceries and great bread.
