Really good experience - Edit
It is a traditional ethiopian restaurant, where you preferably eat with your hands. I've been there several times and the service as well as the food was amazing every time.

Amazing! - Edit
All vegetarian options are either vegan or can be made vegan on request. (Vegan food is a an integral part of the Ethopian cuisine due to religious beliefs).
Read moreThe food options were presented on one joined plate ( traditional) and were eaten with your hand ( what I really enjoyed).
The food itself was really tasty and I definitely will come back. Prices are fair. :)
Cons: Reservation recommended on weekends

Perfect evening, plenty of deliciousness - Edit
Spent a perfect Friday evening with my bestie here and it couldn't have been better. We reserved a table as this place is very popular and packed (they have air purifyers and dividers between tables). We ordered a mixed vegetarian platter for 2 which was completely vegan, as our server reassured. Normally I am a very strong eater, but the portion was incredibly huge (but apparently it is Ethiopian custom to leave some food as a sign of satiety). The different kinds of lentils were all really nice and flavoursome, and two kinds of spicy oils and breads (injeera and a thinner type) were served with it. Waiters were super nice and very attentive even though the restaurant was packed. Can definitely recommend this place.

Favorite restaurant in Schwabing - Edit
We frequent Blue Nile, dine in and takeout, and have never had an issue ordering vegan! The food is fantastic, flavorful, and the portions are large! Highly recommend the misir wat, shiro wat, and a side of two of Grünkohl (kale).
