Tasty thai, lots of vegan options - Edit
All the curries here can be made vegan, and the server was knowledgable about the menu and veganizing things. My mom had the golden triangle and I had the yellow curry. (FYI their "spicy" is pretty hot.) I'd go here again for sure.
Read moreAlso, they have "mock chicken" which I believe is seitan based. It wasn't mind blowing or anything but they gave a very generous portion of it.

Delicious meal; great service - Edit
My husband made a reservation here for our anniversary. Initially I was a bit disappointed with the informal atmosphere, but the service more than made up for that. They had multiple vegan options and a decent wine and beer list. We got a nice bottle of wine and the waiter served it as if we were in an expensive restaurant. The food was delicious. As we were well satisfied, we declined dessert. The waiter then confirmed that I was vegan (my husband eats fish) and brought us a lovely sticky rice with coconut "ice cream" and peanuts. Fabulous and so thoughtful. I made room for that dessert.

I ate here last second and surprised at the decent selection of high protein meat replacements. Home made sriram based meats and plenty of tofu dishes to choose from. Very clean and quiet restaurant. Looks family owned.

Blue Elephant Thai in Bakersfield - Edit
We had dinner at this restaurant on April 2, 2018. The place is spotless. White cloth tablecloths and napkins on the table and the service was fabulous. The music isn't intrusive and the food is amazingly fresh and authentically Thai. They have many vegan options featuring either their mock chicken or tofu options. Highly recommend!
