Loved it! - Edit
Great place to go when you have nothing to do. The food was delicious, great set up, loved the cats, but the it took forever to get our food (except we actually ended up getting it on the house, it took so long). Overall I would go again, great experience and maybe it won't be as slow.

A bit crazy - Edit
Love the concept of this place, but it’s a bit unorganized and the food always turns my stomach a little bit.

Nice but chaotic place - Edit
Very nice concept. It’s a lovely and colourful place with cute cats everywhere. It’s clear that the key focus is on the cats and not on the customers, so don’t expect too much of the service. It was quite disorganised, with orders constantly being mixed up when I was there. I only tried the vegan pizza, which was nice, but nothing special.

Fun & Unique Experience! - Edit
Loved this! Play with the kitties while waiting for your food - which also happens to be delicious. I got the tacos, and loved them. All of the cats are adoptable - and there was a litter of kittens that were just born. Precious!

Come for the food, stay for the cats - Edit
So happy I came here during my short stay in Austin. Walked about 20 minutes from my hotel downtown to hang out here. There is a fee to go inside and be with the cats otherwise, you can sit outside if you just want to eat. Eating in a place where the cats roam free felt a bit unsanitary (cats will jump up onto the tables), but it's not that strange if you have pets.
Read moreI ordered a plate of Ally Cat Tacos - fajita chick’n, pico de gato, cilantro, and chipotle aioli. It was so good! I wish the plate came with three tacos instead of just two! It wasn't too busy when I went, so the wait was not long. Even if there is a wait, enjoy your time playing with some cute cats!
Pros: fun atmophere, vegan texmex, adoptable cats

Cats, cats, everywhere! - Edit
I've been there on two separate occasions - once inside, once for a to go order. If you like cats, this is the place to be. The cats are adoptable which is a great. They're fun to watch hanging from the elaborate cat trees and rafters.
Read moreThe only food I've had their was the BBQ Briscat sandwich and it was delicious.
The wait can be a bit long and sometimes reception is a bit off but nothing crazy. The ambience is okay.
If you haven't been to a cat cafe before I'd give it a go.
Pros: Good Food
Cons: Wait time

Long wait times - Edit
Took a car especially to visit but didn't get to go in because of a 25 minute wait time - so just a note to plan for extra time because you may not just be able to walk in.

Cozy place with adorable cats who are rather friendly if a bit sleepy. Food was rather tasty, wait wasn't too long. Enjoyed myself!

great food, cute cats - Edit
I was a little hesitant to go here but my fiancé loves cats. I had the black bean quesadilla, which was surprisingly delicious! There were nine cats but only four or five were walking around or playing so it wasn't overwhelming. I'm not a huge cat person but I enjoyed playing with them. Everything is vegan except for the soup they had that contained dairy.

Good food, cute cats, a must-see in Austin. - Edit
Traveling to Austin for their annual convention, RTX, I decided to go to this place because it was close to where I was staying and was open late. Boy I'm glad I did.
Read moreThe cats were adorable, friendly, and playful (way moreso than Seattle's cat cafe cats). The food was DELICIOUS (I got the grilled cheese and peppermint mocha, everything is vegan). The staff was super polite and friendly, and the atmosphere of the place was homey, cool, and everything you'd expect from Austin. Cats are adoptable via the Austin Humane Society. They have all sorts of ACTUALLY cool cat merch available to buy, all reasonably prices. Vegan or not, definitely a must-go of you are visiting Austin or live there.
Pros: food, atmosphere, cats
Cons: none

Food OK Idea Purrfect - Edit
Too full from vegan tamales to order dessert. Food just o.k. But would like to give the ""Cake in A Jar" a try. The more ways we get critters adopted the better.

Cats and loved and place is clean - Edit
It's about the friendly cats. The food is secondary. You can visit for just a drink and a dessert treat. This is probably your best bet.

What a grand idea! I might be a biased cat-loving vegan but this cafe was awesome! My cinnamon iced coffee and fajita wrap were both great! My husband had soy chicken for the first time and enjoyed it too! Score! :). The kitties were too cute playing in the rafters.

Food so good & cats so friendly - Edit
My husband & I split the Southwest Wrap which was very good & slightly spicy. My husband went back for the BBQ Jack fruit & the Pumpkitten coffee both of which he said were delicious. When he was in the Cat Cafe, a super friendly cat, with his encouragement, climbed down his arm & onto his shoulders. Really fun experience.

go for the kitty cats - Edit
Adorable decor and cutest lil kitties . We tried the pumpkin coffee and it was great . The fee for the cats is fine in my opinion and the only thing that wasn't great was the service. Both servers were pretty moody and you'll think someone would be happier surrounded by cats all day ! Would still probably go back for the snuggles and a coffee

What a cool place - Edit
We stumbled upon this café accidently our first night in Austin. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! We were hungry, my wife is vegan, so the serendipity of that alone was fortuitous. To have the place inhabited by cats was the icing (carob). What a great concept. The staff was wonderful, the food was really really delicious, a vegan take on Texas barbecue. The owner was gracious and charming. We could not have asked for more.

terrible service - Edit
Great idea. very poor execution. a complete mess to check in and sign the waiver. Service was terrible. Sat over ten minutes and then left without anyone coming over. The area is full of vegan restaurants. I would skip if you are hungry.

Great place - Edit
The food is hot dogs, sammiches, & tacos. I had the BrisCat sammich & enjoyed it. The artwork inside & out is really fun, & the cat canopies/elevated trails are interesting. Although most of them were napping midday. I strongly recommend this place. It's separate facility from the Food Truck outside from where you get your food, but they do bring it inside to your table
