best char koay teaw - Edit
They have the best fried noodles in town. Featured of newspapers too. They also have the best asam laksa. Yummy. The yong tau fu is not good. Just stick to the CKT.
Read moreThe shop is very badly managed and run down by the 2nd generation. Disappointed.

We had some kuai trow (fried rice noodles) at lunch, and chicken rice for breakfast, they were very delicious and affordable. the venue is under apartments and no AC, so find a table near some fans!

Low-key vegetarian street food - Edit
Went on a national holiday so it was very quiet. Had the Fried Kuew Teow (which was really nice) and Yong Tau Foo (ok, bit cold as it was sitting out but still tasty).

Very tasty good value - Edit
We walked up to this place and the outside looks a little run down, but it was super busy loads of people in there. The staff were very nice, helped us. We got the rice with 3 dishes, the char sui porkless was amazing, and the potato rendang one too. We both got meals and drinks for RM 30!!

Pretty good veg Nasi Lamak - Edit
A simple buffet style malay and chinese restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Read moreThe food is reasonably priced as it caters mostly to locals.
We ate a veg Nasi Lamak for only 9 RM per meal. It was tasty, but the portion could be bigger.
On the other hand, at that price we could easily get another plate if we wanted.
A good local experience all in all.

The best vegan food in KL! - Edit
Most options are vegan, friendly English-speaking staff and the best food in KL. I ate laksa, nasi lemak and some sides available. Everything was super delicious, local and authentic. The place is also very clean. It is possible to takeaway.

Great breakfast spot - Edit
Open early, so a good option for breakfast. Nasi lemak was delicious. Other options were available, but was saving myself for a morning of food exploring. This was the best of the places I have tried so far in KL.

No complaints - Edit
Quick little stop in. 10MYR for bowl of rice and 3-4 options from the buffet pots. They’re friendly and happy to help you if you mention you’re vegan.
Read morePortions are not massive but okay for 10MYR which is $3.30 AUS.
Will come back to order something off the menu. The vegan charsui pork was nice 👍
Edit: came back again on our last day here, got the vegan plate 2 servings of the kueh teow (ask for veggie only and NO EGG) and 2 cans drink for 38RMB.
Lovely owners. Felt full and satisfied !

Good range of dishes, but buffet is cold - Edit
I went to the buffet stall that serves a range of dim sum items and popiah. The fried radish cake was cold and the popiah was a bit bland. Prices for the laksa are a bit high. Staff ignore you unless you actively make a food order.

Ok food - Edit
Food was ok, service was a little bit strange. We had to give our order almost before sitting down with the lady just asking us questions if we like this or that and then pretty much choosing for us. The food from the buffet was cold. Prices are very good though.

Diverse buffet, but it’s so cold. Order off the menu - Edit
The buffet and noodles were good, but the nasi lemak was very bland here. I had it earlier at the hungry tapir (more expensive though), and nothing can really compete with that. It’s hard to enjoy the buffet when it’s really cold, so just know that going in. I would go here again and order a hot entree though! Nice staff.

Great service, very affordable - Edit
Lady saw that I was a clueless tourist and helped me narrow down a dish to the Nasi Lemak for 8 ringgit, I also got a cham-o for 2 (which I think is a mix of tea, coffee and sugar.) The food was very tasty but nothing mind-blowing. I'll definitely be coming back for my breakfast tomorrow though.

Make sure to specify that you are vegan. They say everything is vegan, but I think they mean vegetarian. If you do ask for no egg..etc, they make it and it’s fast, delicious and cheap.
