Green Bowl! - Edit
Of course I forgot to take a pic of my green bowl, but it was my favorite thing that I got! Peas and pepitas… sign me up! Horchata was a little sweet but I figured it would be.. I’m weird about sugary beverages. Still tasted good tho! Got a side of curried tofu and lentils.. tofu was great, lentils a little plain but still good. And a tom Kah soup which was good. Had all this delivered from uber eats and it lasted me a while so good portions!

Blossoming Lotus is inside of Root Whole Body and is a nice modern space. Note that parking in the area is not free. This is a great place to visits after a hike in forest park. The superfood smoothie is my favorite. They also have free tea. I loved the truffles as well. Various items are for sale such as vegan Missionary chocolates.

Live Nachos - Edit
I ate here with a big group, so I got to see a big selection of food. Everything was beautiful and delicious, but the biggest surprise was how well everything was executed. I wasn't expecting a menu with such varied cusines on it to turn out so well! Hats off to the team! I especially loved the Live Nachos, which was a raw play on Nachos and cheese. They were extremely filling and oh so yummy!

Highly recommended - Edit
Delicious, healthy food. Super fresh and tasty high-raw dishes such as the zucchini noodles and cucumber/wakame salad. Well-balanced, nuanced fruit/vegetable juices. Nice presentation. Friendly service. Order at the counter and eat in a space shared with a wellness center.

Ehh - Edit
After the first bite I was regretting wasting one of my vegan meals eating here. There’s so many better, and equally healthy, options in Portland. Maybe their main location does things better?
Read moreThe smoothie was good, entrees were so bland. I would imagine anything is better than the macaroni and cheese.

Costly Café - Edit
I ordered the Golden Dragon Bowl, which includes roasted cauliflower, carrots, red onions, spinach, lentils, peanuts, bean sprouts, mint, basil, lime, and brown rice in garlic turmeric sauce. It tasted good, but was overpriced considering the Northeast location includes table service.

Good food. Good service - Edit
I went to support an all vegan restaurant and was pleased with what I got. The beet salad was really good. The bibimbap was pretty good.

Green Dragon Bowl - Edit
I cycled about 13 miles in the rain that morning so I was kind of hungry and looking for a place to dry out a bit.
Read moreI had eaten a bowl at the other Blossoming Lotus over on 15th so thought this one would be as good. Perhaps it was my choice. I ordered the Green Dragon Bowl.
The flavours were kind of muted.
Somewhat on the expensive side for my lifestyle (17$) but I was hungry and wet and the only other place that offered some vegan food that was close was closed on this day.
It would not be a place that I would return to.
Pros: Good service
Cons: Somewhat expensive for me, Muted flavours

Good and Healthy! - Edit
Great food if you're looking for something health-forward with gluten free options! We had the dragon bowl with added BBQ tofu, and gluten free Mac and cheese with bbq tofu. The portions were substantial.
Read moreThe only downsides for this location is that the menu was kind of limited in my opinion, and I thought the Mac and Cheese was lacking flavor. I'd love to come back to try their smoothies!
