Great desserts! - Edit
I absolutely love the desserts that I've gotten from here. Pre-pandemic, I would be in the area once a week and I loved getting something from there. I'm totally looking forward to my next visit here to try more desserts and perhaps a drink as well. I just wish they were open 24/7 like Tim's.

One of the best donuts I've ever had - Edit
We also got brunch here when we were in Toronto for a long weekend visit, and the food was very good (we got a breakfast sandwich bagel and a savory kimchi pancake) but the real star was the chocolate hazelnut banana donut, which was one of my favorite things we had during the entire trip.

Changed too much - Edit
The restaurant used to be quite nice before it changed about a year ago. Now it's only opened during the day so it's difficult for someone to go if you work. The food is good but it can be difficult to eat during the weekend when there is a lot of people

Good! - Edit
We really enjoyed the poutine fries and the mushroom burger (this one was sooooo good). But the wakame bowl had too much wakame (seaweed) for the size of the bowl (I know that the name of the bowl points that out, but I still think it was too much) and the tahini dressing is too bitter (I also know tahini tastes like that, but it was way too much).

cosy vegan doughnut heaven - Edit
such a nice vibe to this place, and so much choice in terms of vegan desserts. we had a vegan cinnamon roll (sweet stodgy heavenliness) and a blueberry muffin (crumbly cakey goodness). prices are super reasonable and absolutely everything is vegan! good selection of plant milks for their hot drinks too. will definitely be back!!

Unique - Edit
We travel all over to taste vegan food and I was pleased by the doughnut flavors. They all carried the flavors very well! I was also impressed by how fluffy and airy the droughts were. We typically only find cake style vegan doughnuts so these were a pleasant surprise. Cool staff and location.

love love love - Edit
One of my absolute favourite places in the city!! Bit sad that they stopped offering dinner but that's okay. Huge portion sizes on their menu items and reasonable pricing - I love the club sandwich and the bowls. I am OBSESSED with their donuts, if you haven't tried one, RUN, not walk, and go get one right now. They taste magical. I've had a few different flavours but a couple of my favourites are rose pistachio and matcha - although you can't really go wrong with any of the flavours! In general it's just a great place to hangout, have a coffee and a donut and even do some work or just chill in one of the booths or by the window. Staff is also always very friendly. Wish I could give them 10/5 stars because 5/5 isn't enough!

Amazing doughnuts and baked goods - Edit
The rosewater pistachio doughnut might just be the best doughnut I've ever had! The other flavours were pretty amazing too. I grabbed some muffins and loaves to go to have in my hotel room for breakfast for the next few days and they held up amazingly, still moist and tasted fresh two days later.

A favourite !! - Edit
I love love love Bloomer's! I started as a donut customer - the best donuts I've ever had btw - and have transitioned into being a huge fan of their full menu. The Tofu Club is my personal favourite -, especially with added Avocado. The Kimchi fries are like nothing I've had before - lots of Kimchi and very tasty. The interior is very cozy and relaxed - you can catch a lot of students doing work at some tables during the day. This place has become a staple for me whenever I'm in the West End. My one suggestion: if you want take out that is quick you won't get that here - it was a 15-minute wait for a sandwich for takeout.

Friendly vegan cafe with a pretty chill vibe.
Read moreTasty lunch menu (get the tempeh wings!) and a good selection of treats. They also make a mean custom cake with really creative flavour options.
Staff have always been lovely. Sometimes the food takes a while to be prepped so not always the best place if you're in a hurry, but it's worth a visit.

Cons: Can be slow

Best vegan baked goods - Edit
I always look forward to stopping here when I’m in Toronto and loading up on delicious vegan baked goods. Peterborough (where I’m from) is definitely lacking in the vegan sweet stuff! Great lattes too - I live the turmeric one.

Hit or Miss - Edit
I’ve been to Bloomer’s before and had their tempeh burger and was hoping to order it again but unfortunately it’s not on the menu anymore. My cousin and I ordered the tempeh wings with sweet garlic sauce, side caesar, tofu club, and black bean mushroom seitan burger. The caesar salad was average, tempeh wings were amazing and super flavorful, but the tofu club and seitan burger were pretty disappointing - both were kind of dry and flavorless. Overall, I think the food is kind of a hit and miss since their tempeh burger from their old menu was amazing.

AMAZING food and service - Edit
This was my favorite meal in Toronto so far. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the cobb salad with dressing on the side - and let me tell you, it didn't even need the dressing! This salad was not your average bowl of lettuce. It was so flavorful and full of delicious hearts-of-palm, beans, olives, pickled onions, and more! For dessert, I got an avocado chocolate chip muffin to go - another fantastic item. My husband ordered the BBQ Jackfruit burger, peanut butter snickers bar, and chocolate chip cookie. All were delicious, although he did say that the snickers bar was very filling and had a lot of peanut butter in it. So definitely only get that if you LOVE peanut butter.
Read morePros: Amazing food at very reasonable prices, Large servings - I couldn't even finish my salad, Board games while you wait!
Cons: Honestly can't think of one!

Full-on Lunch - Edit
I was a bit hesitant at first as the price seemed a bit on the expensive side but I was not let down. The sandwiches are filled up to the brim and they do not compromise on quality or flavour. I had the Tempeh sandwich which was a mix of buttery, pro-biotic goodness. I also got the soup because of the deal available. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I couldn't eat it all despite skipping breakfast as there was a lot to eat so I've got dinner covered! The coffee was to the same, high standard as the food. I did not regret spending a few extra dollars in the slightest.
