Went here a few times. Last time on a double date. Between the four of us we tried most of the menu. Some dishes stood out more than others. We loved the vegetable lasagne for instance. Friendly staff and nice location. They also have a nice lunch menu.

Kitchen closed 4-5:30 - Edit
Turned up yesterday for an early dinner but the kitchen actually closes between 4-5:30 so I was denied a feeding. I sat down in the outside area and had one of the homemade sodas. Absolutely perfect spot on the edge of one of the quieter canals in a more suburban area of the city. People were accessing the water here to swim so it was still busy but calm. Menu looked great, will return.

A very friendly and helpful restaurant. I had a mushroom and vegetable dish which was excellent. It had a rich sauce full of flavour.

I enjoyed their pumpkin salad, but their falafel salad was less good (falafel was a bit dry). Their chai latte was very good though.

I went in for lunch and had the pumpkin soup and the aubergine sandwich. I honestly wanted to love it because it’s organic, glutenfree which is a big yes! but both dishes were way too spicy for me. I love spicy food but this was a bit too much unfortunately. Although it really was flavourful i just couldnt finish the dishes.. I will come back next time I’m in Amsterdam and try to go there for dinner as they have such great reviews and the pictures look incredible😄

We had the three course menu, for €35,00. The starter with the vegetable paté was good, but a bit too cold. We had three different main courses and desserts. We liked the mains the best. Lots of greens and good quality ingredients. The frozen pie was a bit like a smoothie, the applecake was a bit high on the spices.

This was really disappointing. €20 for a main and it was tiny and lacked flavor. My friend also said her meal wasn’t that good. I’m glad we passed on the appetizer and dessert. I just don’t get why restaurants think they can charge this much for mediocre food. I guess they might get tourists but not repeat business. It has a bar/cafe feel so not sure why they are trying to go for fine dining.

Agree with the previous review. 3.5 star it is. Portions were small. With such small portions and high prices, I normally expect some level of meticulousness and innovation. I feel like this concept doesn’t fit this cute informal place.

The place has a nice atmosphere and although it is close to the centre of Amsterdam it’s also off the beaten path which adds to the special ambiance. The food is exquisite: they make you appreciate the variety of taste and texture among vegetables. My starter were the vegan blini’s, a sort of mini pancake with a cashew and parsnip creme. This is a wonderful combo. For the main course I had a lasagna of grilled vegetables. The fun thing about this one is that it is a lasagna without pasta: I absolutely loved the mild but distinguished flavours of all the vegetables. Finally, for desert I had a vegan crème brûlée made of orange, lavender, and cocos. This was an acquired taste, and although in the end I enjoyed the flavour I would not order it again. But the desert was well made. Overall, I can really recommend this place. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is something different from all the vegan restaurants that try to just replace meat instead of appreciating the power of vegetables by themselves. 👩🌾

An easy to miss, little eatery, by the canal. We found it by accident and happy we did. They serve a menu of vegan dishes that are actually delicious and retain the taste of the ingredients. Not at all like the usual heavy and creamy fare that we have to endure if we dare to eat outside. My SO is a picky eater and the chef was happy to customize for her taste too. Overall a nice place.

Read moreBetween the four of us we ordered everything on the menu. We all left satisfied, happy and feeling healthy. The dishes (all organic and vegan) were well seasoned and full of complexity. Nothing about it was prefab, they chose for real ingredients instead of meat replacements. A good menu of beers to choose from.
