Good

Got the salad - it was decent, but lacking a bit of flavor. There were other vegan options that are probably better

Pros: Cozy atmosphere , Clearly labeled vegan options

Tasty

Okay, so it’s Banff, so the prices are sky-high… but those place has some really taste vegan options. We did the lettuce wraps and the steamed buns. Delish!!

Great food and cocktails!

Great food and cocktails! This small local favourite is a great place to start out at or end off a night with friends. It’s got a great vibe and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Food is eclectic, tasty, and suitable for everyone in the group. Vegan options are available and the cocktail list is creative and thoughtful.

Pros: Decent vegan and vegetarian options , Great cocktails , Great ownership and staff

Yummy appies and drinks.

Cozy little place with several vegan options. Great cocktails, a little pricey but it’s Banff! We had the 3 dips & naan ( vegan option comes with corn chips not naan), warm olives & samosas. The 3 dips were great ( hummus, green destiny, baba ganoush). The warm olives were covered in a delicious garlic herb dressing. The samosas were made with a thin crispy sprig roll like wrap with a great chilli mango dipping sauce. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Great way to enjoy an afternoon.

Pros: vegan appetizers, mains and a dessert

Cons: Cocktails were a little pricey but delicious

Underwhelming but edible

The vegan food was pretty decent, had the vegan bao and samosas. They re-purposed the mango sauce for both dishes which tasted a bit off in the bao and the bao dish itself was quite cold. Wouldn’t go back but it does the job and fills you up.

Very few options

There were maybe two salads, two appetisers (nam and dip or veg samosas) and 1 hot dish that can be made vegan, I got the samosas (nothing special at all but if you like them usually you'll probably like them here) and the one hot dish which was fresh spicy smoked tofu wraps, you get spicy shreds of tofu, kimchi, mango chilli sauce and a super hot red sauce to put together yourself with a lettuce leaf to hold it all, very yummy flavours but super spicy be warned! They also had one vegan dessert which was a chocolate mouse pot which was nice

Pros: Very small restaurant and not too expensive , Good flavours on the main dish, Had dessert!

Cons: Everything else is super fishy (it got smelly), Only one hot main (I'm not a salad girl), The samosas kindda sucked

OK for vegans, but small space

A few options on the menu are marked vegan. I had the vegan ragout. It was marked vegan but said "sausage," so I needed to specify that I wanted it vegan. They swap out the sausage and add golden beats. Yum! But check the website, it seems like the menu may change over time.

The space is rather small. I've uploaded a picture of the indoor space, there's also a few tables outside. It has the look and feel of a small bar, for sure. I was there on a three day weekend, and it was packed Friday evening, so we went elsewhere. On Sunday evening, it was a bit less crowded, and we were able to find a seat. It seems everything in Banff is packed, at least on a popular weekend.

Service was great, and staff were very friendly.

Pros: Vegan options well-marked

Cons: Small

seen better!

The food tasted good, got the kuninbra with the quinoa salad! But the waitress seemed to always be in a hurry! Lack a few main dish choice though... The portion was not really enough for a big eater like me but for a nomal person should be fine! Maybe a bit pricy, but it's banff so kinda normal too:)

Pros: tastes good

Cons: a bit pricy, staff

Nice atmosphere, great food!

Had a lovely dinner at Block Kitchen, enjoyed mixed olives and edamame as appetizer and then lentil, quinoa and mushroom ragout. It was delicious! Good quality ingredients, perfect portion sizes. Will return if I am ever in Banff again!

Pros: Quality ingredients, Nice atmosphere, Friendly staff
