Blini bliss

This is a cute little joint on busy Albany Highway. It's rather small on the inside although does have limited space for outdoor seating as well. I get the feeling that it's better suited to take-aways?

I ordered the roast pumpkin blini and left feeling stuffed! I was a bit worried that the serving size wasn't going to be worth it for $20.90 AUD (it was $17.90 originally but with $3 added on to get vegan cheese) but was proved pleasantly wrong! Aside from the serving size, the blini itself was fantastic. They definitely didn't skimp on the fillings!

This is a solid option in my mind. I would definitely return here if I was in the area.

3.75/4 (points taken off for $3 to sub vegan cheese. I understand that vegan cheese is more costly than cow's milk cheese. However, $3 seems like a lot considering that it's just a sprinkling of cheese. I think that $1-2 would be more reasonable for the amount of cheese actually in the blini)

Pros: Serving size value for money, No skimping on fillings

Cons: $3 for vegan cheese - not a huge deal though
