Serves meat, vegan options available. Cabin/House on Hochkalter Mountain. Can only be accessed on foot, about a 3 hour hike up from the parking lot. The cabin has a full kitchen with a split pea stew (eintopf) and a lentil stew on the menu which are both vegan. Closed in winter months.

Spectacular view with vegan option

I had the pea eintopf here which was served with bread. A nice meal after a hike. I highly recommend this vista and trail to the glacier, however it is very steep going up (for intermediate hikers). The cabin is open seasonally, only in the late spring to early fall months
