Toot toot - Edit
Does it ever happen to you that you see something on the menu with a vegan option and you order that option and all seems copacetic and your plate comes out and everything appears in order and you take a few satisfying bites but then something in your senses seems a tad bit off and you feel a little woozy and then you look up and there’s a kitchen person giving you eyebrows like they want to butter your bread and you say that’s so nice but please don’t! and maybe they already have buttered your bread and then you toot for like two days straight does that ever happen to you

Delicious vegan options, beautiful setting - Edit
This place reminds me of the small town Evergreen I grew up in. It's set by the creek in an older building with charm. They have vegan options that are filling and delicious. I love their green chili and usually get an extra side.

Great Burger! - Edit
Would give 5 stars if I could! The Black bean burger is definitely homemade. They are very accommodating with Vegan options. The outside patio is wonderful right by the creek and dogs are welcome.

Several vegan options - Edit
The menu has several clearly labeled vegan options. I had the classic vegan breakfast which is a tofu scramble, veggie sausage patty, toast, and potatoes. Delicious meal and great atmosphere!

Many vegan options! - Edit
Was hiking around the area with friends when we stumbled upon this cafe. I expected it to only have non vegan muffins/ coffee stuff but was surprised to see an entire menu with quite a few vegan options! It seemed like there were additional fees / charges that we were unaware of but it was pretty tasty!

Well worth coming to! The vegan options are thoughtful and delicious, and the portions are generous. Nice view out the window of a river and wild life. Absolutely loved it! Make sure to ask for the vegan menu when you go, it is an entirely separate menu.

Tasty options on separate vegan menu - Edit
We stopped here for breakfast on our way to a wedding and the breakfast options were great. They also adjusted the breakfast burrito to be Gluten free with corn tortillas. Eating outside by the creek was also very nice

Some good vegan basics - Edit
Amazing place location wise. You can sit right on the creek outside and it gorgeous. Good food, nothing too fancy. Basic vegan meals. Nice to have some vegan options in an otherwise not very vegan town!

Creekside Vegan Brunch - Edit
Such a wonderful find for casual dining with indoor and outdoor seating (thank you Happy Cow!). A fantastic vegan menu upon request with lots of choices. Everything was very clearly marked and it was easy to navigate food preferences. Creekside was our dining choice and it was such a perfect mealexperience. The servers were well versed with all food (and beer) options and very friendly. The vegan rancheros and vegan breakfast burrito we ordered were great. Asked for a easy hike recommendation after the meal and proceeded to Lair O the Bear Park for a post brunch walk, which was only about a 5 minute drive from the CafeTavern.

Beautiful scenery with a vegan menu - Edit
We recently moved to Denver but have come back here multiple times over the past year because we love the creek side scenery and the vegan fare. What a find! Like others, we really enjoy the smothered burritos (I pair it with their vegan refried beans), vegan English muffins, etc. For a day trip to the area, there are *many* nice nearby trails, too, that are great to partner with visiting this restaurant, just sayin'!

Full vegan menus! (want to give 5 stars) - Edit
An Evergreen staple that we locals love. And oh my word, Chef Jeff has just blown my mind by busting out new, delicious, serious vegan dishes! Woooooot! Cozy and rustic with authentically friendly staff. Beautiful mountain setting right beside Bear Creek. Full bar. Ask for an almond milk White Russian. :D

Great place with numerous vegan options - Edit
We’ve eaten at Blackbirds about 5 times since moving to the area. We’ve taken vegans and devout carnivores and all have loved the food, ambiance and mimosas with brunch. Highly recommend this place. The outdoor dining is so wonderful. The only reason I can’t give five stars is that Happy Cow only allows that rating for fully vegan locations.
