Went again at the end of NC500 trip and had the greek vegan pizza, and vegan cheesy garlic bread. Both fab, but the garlic bread wins for me. A great visit once again

Pizza and beers - Edit
Nice place with a good vibe, no music but friends meeting to chat, have some beers and some pizza. We’ve been a number of times: had pizza Vegan pizzas with different topics (mushrooms, vegan haggis, pepper & kale) which have amazing melty herby cheese and a great base. Garlic pizza bread & a Mixed salad- they checked and substituted for different dressing (had honey in it, vegan was lime and chilli dressing- they’ve since offered a range of dressings) We’ve had non alcoholic and alcoholic beers that they could confirm were vegan (they couldn’t confirm the guest ones were), and you can also get servings in third pints which is great for sampling different drinks. No doubt we’ll be back again

Delicious pizza - Edit
Great vegan options - we tried their fresca and balsamic cheese pizza, both could be made vegan with plantbased cheese. Also a nice choice of beer.

Organic wood fire pizza - Edit
The atmosphere of the place was great, relaxed and friendly. The menu had several pizzas with vegan options and it was clearly marked which ones were vegan. Our pizza was fantastic, great crust and good combo of toppings. We asked several questions when ordering to try and decide which one to get, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved that it was all organic real food!!! And a lot of it local at their farm!

Everything here is organic, they have their own Black Isle organic beer which is great. Very nice vegan pizza with a nice vegan mozzarella. In this pub we tried for the first time, few years back, Booja Booja, and fell in love with it immediately 😊

Good pizzas, great beers - Edit
Vegan cheese costs £1,50 extra. This way, three of their options for pizzas can be made vegan. The offered toppings are a bit basic, nothing too exciting, but the pizzas are really good still.

Great pizzas- can get real busy - Edit
If it's busy, prepare to wait 30-50 mins for a pizza, but otherwise quite quick. Pizzas are great, and the vegan cheese is made locally by a small company that produce great stuff. They sometimes put the cheese on in big chunks which ain't good, and sometimes don't cook it long enough to melt properly, but it's getting more consistent. Had the mushroom pizza today- lovely with a cold beer and the cheese was melted to the point of browning- perfect!

Pizza and beer - Edit
I think I've been here every time I've visited Inverness. They have a great selection of beers and wood-fired oven pizza. They replace the cheese with vegan cheese in vegetarian options. On my last visit October 2022 I had the mushroom pizza and it was really good. The cheese was pretty nice and they also offer tasty oils to spice up your pizza.

Great beers, good pizza, wonderfull beer garden - Edit
Came originally for the beers but ended up having a pizza (with my beers!). I got the artichoke/pesto one, I don't what cheese substitute they use but it kinda have no taste, it does give a creamy touch though, mozzarella like. The pizza have a thin crispy crust and is quite light, I could actually eat it all! They are wood-fired cooked which is also nice!

I expected more after pictures and reviews. I had the vegan mushroom pizza. Looked great and first bites were good, but quickly became boring. Suggestion: add Some pesto to make it more interesting

So good we ate there twice - Edit
After a busy week cycling NC500 this was just what our group needed. Though still in cycling kit, we were welcomed and felt comfortable in the relaxed environment. We returned the next day for lunch. Both pizzas I had were delicious. A lot of their pizzas can be easily veganised.

A little lacklustre - Edit
I originally asked for the goats cheese pizza vegan option but the waitress came back and double checked id want that because there is no direct goat cheese equivalent so it wouldnt really be that menu item anymore. So I went with mushroom which I don’t normally get because theyre normally pretty underwhelming and this was no exception. Cool wild mushrooms but the cheese didnt melt. The secret garden upstairs is pretty nice but not all of it is covered from rain and the whole restaurant gets SUPER busy. I didnt have any beer.

Nice crispy pizza and great beers - Edit
Nice place, good beer menu. The labelling of pizzas wasn’t great - they were using Ve for veggie which is confusing but the guy said I could make any veggie one vegan. Nothing was labelled vegan. They only had 2-3 options. I had vegan mushroom. The cheese is a bit strange - big chunks. Pizza was nice though overall.

Disappointed - Edit
Went there coz the pizza pictures looked tasty. Instead we were given garlic bread and pizza with weird globules. Squidgy, slightly smokey in flavor. Did not melt or have the consistency of cheese in any way. Beer was good, but give the food a pass.

I ate the whole thing 😵 - Edit
Got the vegan margarita pizza, complete with vegan mozzarella, and it was so good that I ate the entire thing. It was huge. Perfectly delicious. 10/10. Wish I could give it 5 stars. There were other vegan pizzas too, that I’m sure were equally delicious.
