Disappointed - Edit
After some strong recommendations decided to try for lunch. Asked what the vegan option where and was told the cauliflower curry salad is vegan. Double checked because of the dressing description and again was assured it is vegan. Two bites in, found bacon. After bringing my new salad, was told it is not vegan and neither was the dressing. The new salad with a vinaigrette, was also wrong. Unfortunately didn’t find the bacon until nearly done with the salad. Would not recommend. Between the two employees involved with taking my order, this should not have happened.

Not many vegan options - Edit
Other than non-dairy milks, not particularly vegan-friendly anymore. None of the breakfast sandwiches, baked goods are vegan. Used to have options.

Fantastic specialty drinks - Edit
The hummus plate is pretty filling. Not sure if more food has been added since I lived in the area five years ago but is truly the BEST coffee. They get the ratio down on all of their drinks and the staff are all so nice.

Black & Brew is very good! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere of the place is cozy and nice, and the food is good!
