Serves meat, vegan options available. Est. Aug 2021. Appears there are two restaurants - one that serves meat and this one which is vegetarian with several that can be adapated to be made vegan by removing specific items. Located in the Liljevalchs art gallery new extension part. Be sure to look for the + to be sure you are in the correct restaurant. Reported to serve meat August 2023. Cashless. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-16:30, Sat-Sun 11:00-17:00. Closed Sun.

Good vegan option - Edit
There is a vegan corner at the back of the restaurant which is very pleasant. Many vegan dishes including a really delicious burger, with sweet potato fries. Served very quickly.

A great place to catch lunch with some delicious vegan options. Food comes very quickly and the service is always nice!

Hectic lunch - Edit
We visited at peak Lunchtime on a Saturday, so it was incredibly busy (as to be expected). Seating was at a premium and we were very very lucky to grab a table just after ordering (I was worried we’d end up with food & no table)! Staff give you a number and food is brought to you when ready. I had some sort of Argentinian empanadas, which were super tasty and came with a small side salad. My partner had a vegan chicken burger with sweet potato fries, and it was nice but nothing special. An Indian lentil soup was on the menu but they had ran out (and it would have been my choice). Those were the only vegan items we could see; perhaps other dishes could be modified but we didn’t ask.

Tolle Auswahl, Geschmacklich super - Edit
Tolle Auswahl an veganen Gerichten, alles sehr lecker. Gerne wieder!

Confused - Edit
Was very confused because this was supposedly a vegetarian cafe/restaurant however appeared to be serving meat and couldn’t actually see any veggie options let alone vegan options. Asked a member of staff if they have any vegan food and was told they could make us a vegan salad but that’s it. Managed to find a vegan pastry and got an oat milk latte which were pretty decent.

"vegetarian" restaurant that serves meat.. - Edit
As a restaurant that has "vegetarian" stated on their description and hanging on the walls, that is incorrect. I found that they only had one vegan option (soup), for the main meal, while they had a few vegan snacks. The lentil soup was fine, nothing special, very watery, very few lentils.

Cons: Falsely advertised as vegetarian , Watery soup, Expensive

Much better than expected - Edit
The vegan pierogies was great! Good texture and seasoning. Great place for vegans, several options for lunch and they had at least one dessert (cinnamon bun). They also had bread and seasoned vegan butter which was included in the lunch price. Will revisit.

Randomly Closed - Edit
After walking through Blå itself, which was open, we found a deserted room an a "closed" sign. I did ask a member of staff in Blå about whether there was any chance of getting anything from the Blå Plus menu, and she said no.
Read more(There was also no information to suggest new opening hours or permanent closure, or I would have used the update form.)
They very obviously share a kitchen (it's right between the two). The vegetarian restaurant isn't really a different restaurant - it's just a room with different seating off the side of the omnie place, though it's possible to enter without going through the omnie restaurant.
We went today (a Monday in June). I wouldn't usually post a bad review of a place just for being randomly closed, but this seemed egregious.
Cons: Not actually open

This place is great! It’s stylish, calm, and relaxing. The food is casual but very well done and the vegan cinnamon buns are delicious! It’s one of my favorite places to eat in Stockholm.

Great little cafe lunch! - Edit
Husband and I came by here around 1:30p on a Sunday after exploring the Skansen. We found the entrance off the road where there was a “blå ” sign; if you plug it into Google Maps it’ll take you there. (However, you could also go through the nonveg restaurant and get there.)
Read moreIt looks like the food rotates slightly, so when we came they had an option of a grilled cheese, soup of the week (corn soup), melon salad, no chicken burger, and a few other items; two of the items were vegan while the rest were vegetarian. We got the corn soup and the grilled cheese. My husband loved his grilled cheese (and it came with a nice side salad!) while my corn soup was excellent. There is also a giant loaf of sourdough you can grab pieces from to eat with your soup or meal.
Additionally, they had two vegan desserts—one of which was a vegan version of a Swedish cardamom bun! It was a nice treat.
Overall, if you’re in the area and looking for a nice veg lunch, this is definitely the spot. Both restaurants share a massive garden area that you can enjoy the weather in. (See photo for a small portion of it!)

A little disappointed - Edit
The food was okay, but I was expecting something better. I ordered the Caesar salad and I thought there was nothing special about it. It wasn't clear whether some desserts were vegan or not. The staff was not helpful and seemed annoyed and lost.

À la mode - Edit
As stated in the description, Blå+ is an offshoot to classic establishment Blå Porten. It's accessible from both Blå Porten and via the entrance to the newly renovated Liljevalchs art gallery. The interior has a futuristic, 70s vibe to it with mirrors stretching on either side and orange seating. As it was a warm and sunny day we opted for the beautiful courtyard.
Read moreThere were several lunch dishes on offer, all quite pricey. I chose the chantarelle toast which was served with vegan mayo and vegan parmesan and a small side salad. The expensiveness of chantarelles was reflected in the price of 155 SEK however the side salad could have been larger and coffee/tea included as a lunch deal. The toast itself was delicious, the characteristic flavour of the mushrooms were gently accompanied by the fresh-tasting mayo and rustic sourdough toast. Perhaps a touch too salty for my liking.
According to the staff they have plans for the fika menu to become fully vegan. They currently have approximately three vegan items.
By the time we had finished our early lunch, more people had dropped in although it was far from crowded. I'm pleased that there is a veggie eatery on Djurgården which is otherwise quite deprived of vegan fare, apart from raw balls which are (still?!) a staple in most cafés. Blå+ is open until 9 pm which is handy. I hope they'll keep this niche as it's in tune with the times and a much-needed addition to the area.
Pros: Plenty of vegan items , good quality food, modern interior
Cons: Expensive considering food is standard not fancy
