Clearly marked options - Edit
We stopped by through Akureyri and ate at Bláa Kennan. It obviously is a very popular spot because it was packed! The line was long but moved fast however finding a table was difficult. We lucked out but multiple people were standing around waiting for a table to open up so we ate quickly.
Read moreI order the soup of the day that was a cauliflower soup. It was very good with lots of chunky veggies in the bottom. The GF bread was really good, as well.

Limited choice - Edit
The falafel salad was the only vegan option when I visited but it was actually surprisingly good. Probably because the tomatoes and salad were fresh as they are grown in Iceland in the geothermal greenhouses.
