Nette Bedienung, wird wurden direkt herzlich empfangen. Bei der Frage nach veganen Optionen wurde uns auch direkt es vorgeschlagen. Natürlich habe ich mich auch von den Einträgen hier inspiren lassen. Leider empfand ich die Gnocci als sehr ölig. Das Risotto war relativ gut.

Nice place but uneducated staff - Edit
Very lovely place right by the harbor, friendly staff that kept insisting the truffle gnocchi was vegan. Asked what cream they used and they said it was vegan but couldn’t answer what type. Waiter finally brought the package and it’s a vegetable cream which contains milk powder…. They were happy to remake the dish without any cream though

Super friendly and in a pretty location which means it’s also super busy and touristy. Very helpful in accommodating my veganism, though the truffle gnocchi were a bit underwhelming.

We wandered round Rovinj and this was the first restaurant we looked at. We couldn’t see anything vegan so carried on walking.
Read moreAfter a while, we checked Happy Cow and saw that they could do vegan gnocchi or risotto so went back and asked. They initially said the asparagus pasta could be made vegan but checked with the chef who said it was not possible. We had the truffle gnocchi which they made with a vegan white sauce. It was rich and delicious. Staff were really helpful and is in a beautiful setting right on the harbour.

Incredible Vegan Food - Edit
After wondering around and finding that literally everywhere else on Happy Cow was closed, we finally asked this resturaunt if they could accommodate us. We showed them our vegan passport app and our waiter, Kimmy, was so helpful. He went and checked with the kitchen to see what they could do for us and even went back to double check the answers to our questions. Timmy was also a great waiter and very accommodating to our group.
Read moreThey were able to make the truffle gnocchi vegan for us (which normally would come with cream) and it was absolutely incredible. It was so filling and such a great price at 9.50 kn. We also order the roasted vegetables, chips and vegetable risotto which were delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially given the gorgeous water front location.
