Best falafel in town! - Edit
The food at Habibi is excellent. We've been a couple of times and got the vegan plate for two. This isn't specifically labelled on the menu, they have a vegetarian plate that has labneh on it. If you ask for it to be vegan, the labneh gets replaced with some za'atar and olive oil.
Read moreThe meal consists of falafel, hummus, Baba ganoush, muhammara, makdous, tabbouleh, ful medames, pitas, za'atar and olive oil. The pitas came out lovely and warm and were big, fluffy and delicious. The makdous is a personal favourite of mine as I don't see them in places very often. The hummus and falafel are the best I've had in Prague and the muhammara is packed full of flavour. Everything is great and it makes for a good hearty meal.
The owner is nice and friendly and took some time to ring and check with his baklava supplier to see if anything was vegan, sadly none of it was vegan.
I strongly recommend visiting and I aim to go back a bit more regularly. It's by the river and close to Vyšehrad so it's in quite a good spot for tourists.

Hummus da sogno - Edit
L'hummus era qualcosa di spaziale. Opzioni vegane poche ma molto buone e abbondanti.

I’d give it 5 ⭐️ - Edit
I absolutely loved the place and I’m definitely coming back. The owner is Palestinian-Jordanian, so you know the cuisine is authentic. That’s attested by my Palestinian girlfriend as well.
Read moreThe place is super cozy and you really feel like you’re sitting in a living room of good friends who serve you wonderful food with a side of family stories. The owner is very eager to share, chat, and answer any of your questions.
The portions are generous, and we found it hard to finish our meals. So come hungry! But not too hungry since the wait time is quite long. The owner does most things himself and has a small team so things take time.
But don’t mind the wait, it’s worth it. Even zaatar is fresh and aromatic.
By the way the main menu is vegetarian/vegan and just specials have some meat options. Otherwise I’d give this place five stars.
Pros: Quality of food, It’s authentic, The atmosphere is amazing
Cons: The wait time is fairly long

Delicious authentic falafel! - Edit
We really enjoyed our experience at Bistro Habibi. The food was delicious, fresh, and made from scratch. We had the Baba Ghanoush plate and the Houmous plate. Each came with falafel and fresh warm pita.

A Feast! - Edit
We went for the platter for two, which usually contains labneh (dairy cheese). The owner swapped it for some oil and zatar, which we really enjoyed. The platter was a good size for two hungry people. All the dishes were really flavoursome and enjoyable, and we especially enjoyed the hummus, makdous, and pita.
Read moreThe new location is spacious (there are multiple small tables now, not just one big table as mentioned in another review before the relocation) and the decor is really fun.
We had a really great visit and will definitely go back!
Be aware that I think one page of the menu has a header which suggests the whole place is vegan - but it's not! Make sure to specify that you want the platter veganising.

We had platter for two. Vegan heaven! Really good hummus and falafel. But the beer was pricey = 90 CZK for Vinohradský pivovar 😱.

Cosy little home-like place - Edit
Delicious middle eastern food prepared by the owner who is the only staff in this cute little place with just one table you share with other visitors when seating outside is not possible. Ask for something specific from the menu if you don't want to have full menu to taste, which was a bit too much for me alone!

Thank you so much 😊
Read moreI’m sorry to find us expensive even tho the most expensive meal is (275 czk = 11 euro)
We try our best to survive the increase of the prices of our imported ingredients from the Middle East.
Next visit inform me and you’ll get a free vegan sahleb ☺️

Great place, offers Mediterranean food - Edit
I discovered that place by accident, when I was in the neighborhood. They offer Mediterranean dishes such as falafel, schwarma, hummus etc. Everything was very tasty and the service was good. It was also quite cheap.

I like to say I'm done with falafels. I have my spots where occationaly I'd get some and Habibi just became my Prague's spot for bloody good falafel and food in general.
Read moreCame here for family lunch with omnivores an we were all so satisfied!
We tried shawarma, z'atar cheese wrap and falafel plate. All was so delicious, beautifully served (and huge portions!) and as a dessert Baklava.
The owner is very friendly talkative guy with lots of interesting things to talk about. Looking for being back. Worth the trip out of the center (anyways it's just by a metro station so no excuses:D)

Amazing food and hospitality - Edit
This place is run by a Jordanian, the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He makes you feel so much at home, and makes everything himself, from the bottom. We had to wait for a bit since he had a lot of customers at the time we were there, but it was definitely worth the wait. My girlfriend and I had some za'atar with cheese and veggies, and it was so tasty. Also, we got complimentary coffee and dessert, and got to meet a few other guests that were incredibly nice people and from all over the world. An immense and unique experience, and you need to go there if you are in the area. The place is located in a small "backyard" with several different small shops, among them a zero-waste store and a bar. In the summer there is live music on the small stage there every day. For your own sake, don't miss this experience.
