nice place to have a beer and spinach nockerln

Unfortunately there is only one vegan dish on the menu but it is very good. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful location

My favorite place for a late-night meal and beer in town. It is hard to find vegan options for dinner in Bamberg, and the few other places that do exist close their kitchens at 9 pm. Bischofsmühle, by contrast, offers one reliably vegan and delicious dish: "Spinatnocken", (spinach gnoccis), they will ask you if want the vegetarian or the vegan variety, which is available until 11:30 pm. The place boasts a historical location (a mill that can be traced back to the 15th century), outdoor seating with a view of the old city, very friendly staff and good local beers and wines.
