I ordered pretty much all the vegan items on offer from here, and while none of them were mind blowing, they were more than adequate to give me my fix for Indian cuisine.

Yay, vegan options. Average food, though... - Edit
Okay, kudos to Biryani Pot for adding a separate section just with vegan dishes to the menu. Solid and the reason I came here, apart from that it's close to where I currently work. I ordered the vegan jalfrezi and, well, it was okay. Not really bad, but not outstanding either. I finished it and wasn't hungry anymore, so it did that job, though it didn't leave me feeling randomly culinarily elated. Still, I'd come here again to try some of the other vegan options.
Read moreNon-food related downside: Even if you dine in, they still give you the food in plastic containers with plastic cutlery. Who eats Indian food with cutlery anyway? Also, environmentally unfriendly.
