Bio supermarkt met veel keuze - Edit

Er is een ruim assortiment aan bio, duurzame en vegetarische producten. Misschien kan er een vast uitgebreider assortiment aan vegan kaas komen. Dit mis ik nog. Er wordt ook cosmetica aangeboden en dit vind ik echt een pluspunt.

A good selection of veggie, vegan, bio and eco products. - Edit

First you have to navigate your way through the more lifestyle orientated products, such as hemp and chia seeds (which I actually buy), the latest superfoods, vitamin supplements, facial scrubs, etc, etc, then Birkenstocks , ethical toys and finally you are into the part of the shop that you probably really want. Turn right and there are a good selection of teas, eco cleaning products (with the option to refill), dried herbs and spices are at the back end of the shop, though not quite up to the standard of an Indian or Turkish super market. Continuing counter clockwise you will find, bio dairy products, lots of Tofu in various forms (Taifun smoked tofu is the best!) including a variety of sausages (depends on when you go as to how good the selection is), seitan, vegan pate’s etc. Further on there is also a chilled food and bread counter, somewhat inconveniently close to the meat counter, and then you’re by the dried pulses and ‘packaging free’ area. Next it’s the bio veggies, and then it’s gluten free and other allergen related foods, pasta made from things other than standard wheat, cereals, tinned pulses etc.
After this you are heading back to the checkout via the organic beers and wines.
Just a quick point of note for non Belgians, many things in Belgium that come in glass containers have a deposit on them, which you get when you return the jar or bottle to the shop, some of the vegan pate’s that come in glass jars will have this, as well as most beer bottles.

Fairly big shop, decent amount of vegan products - Edit

This is the oldest shop of the 3 Biovita shops, and the largest one.
Parking on inner court next door.

Fairly large organic shop, with good offer of vegan products (like plant drinks, bread spreads, ..) and products you won't so easily find in regular shops.

Although I've found that over the years, the offer and variety of vegan products (especially those in cooled section) in the shop hasn't changed really much (while there are so many more they could sell).

There is also a large meat counter here, which is unsettling.

Also sells a lot of ecological children's toys.
