Best vegan restaurant in Salento - Edit
One of the best vegan experiences of my life! All organic and 95% homegrown ingredients packed in such flavourful dishes that are made with a lot of love. I recommend the full menu since every single dish is absolutely delicious. Also Gaspare's service is exquisit and fits very well in the environment and vibe of the place. Even the pets seem to have the time of their life and pass by to get some love every once in a while.

A must visit while in Puglia - Edit
Piccapane is a restaurant situated in the country side. We were greeted by a very happy dog and a kitten. I wish we came during the day so we could see the farm but the outside area where we sat was very relaxing. It had a beautiful table setting for 4-5 tables so it’s small and intimate.
Read moreThe waitress showed us the board with the menu for that night; it had 6 dishes, all vegan, it was 10€ each or 30€ if we wanted all of them, so we all chose to try all of the meals. The first course was aubergine meatballs with onion fritters, pumpkin pie, roasted peppers and tzatziki. The second course was a chickpea curry. The third course was ravioli, the fourth course was eggplant parmigiana and then we had dessert which was a fig pie. Portions are all very generous!
Everyone enjoyed the food, and loved the overall experience. We also had some of their homemade wine which was nice and bought some pesto from their organic shop.
Everything that I could see was vegan except for a few jars of honey in their shop.

This place is beautiful And relaxing in a natural enviroment . The dish we ordered were all so good And well presented. Everything is organic And from their garden . The also sell a very good olive OIL And pasta .
