Long established restaurant vegetaria, since the 2000s. During the day, it offers a salad bar buffet and a menu of the day. At night, guests order from the a la carte menu. Example of food include veggie burger w/ potato wedges, tapas platter, mushroom zucchini quesadilla, and carrot cake. Large space, casual atmosphere. Location is 3 blocks south of Placa Catalunya. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-23:00, Sat 13:00-23:00, Sun 13:00-16:00.

95% of the menu is vegan, only a couple vegetarian options. Portions are very big, even from the tapas/appetizers sections, so watch out to not order too much. Good value for money. Besides their a la carte menu, they also have a daily special with 3 options each of appetizers, main course, dessert and wine/water for €15. 10/10 would recommend. The place is also very big and the decoration is beautiful, with a very friendly staff.

Peace, quiet, and good food in the bustling city centre of Barcelona - Edit
If a restoran is called "Biocenter", it must be either really bad or really good. There is no average with a name this ambitious... and indeed, it turned out to be the best gastronomic experience in Barcelona on our 5-day trip. Delicious food, good wine, cosy atmosphere. We shared the breaded seitan sticks with chipotle sauce and house ketchup for startets, and I had a heura bowl as main dish. Heura is the local plant-based (legume) meat alternative, made in Barcelona since 2017, so in this sense, they also support local vegan production.

After visiting the art shop next door, I was happy to find this vegetarian restaurant. I had vegan vegetable cream soup, falafel, carrot cake, and sparkling water as their set menu. I added an espresso.

Great seitan - Edit
The seitan this place served really hit the spot. The only issue is that the tables are covered with leather. I did not check if they are vegan leather, however it’s still not comfortable for me to see something that reminds me of animal products either way.

Really lovely place, just off La Rambla and nicely decorated, feels very 1920s. Seitan was moist and delicious, the sauce was a little spicy but fine for someone who can’t handle spice! The apple crumble was heaven

Delicious vegan options we had the lentil with sweet potato burger which was the best plant burger we have ever had. Bun was tasty and homemade ketchup was good too. The side salad was well made and my hubby loved his potatoes.

Went for lunch and the waiter wasn't very friendly, when asked about drinks he said they didn't have a certain one I asked for but didn't offer any options. My meal had a lot of flavor but was very little portion for the price, where my partners meal was two thirds bigger but had no flavor or dressing. Felt rushed, and like they didn't want us there.

Unbeatable menu of the day, available on the weekend as well, with excellent dishes from the Spanish cuisine. Most dishes were vegan when I had lunch here, if I remember well the moussaka was the only vegetarian option. My choices were absolutely outstanding: creamed courgettes and a chickpea stew.

Restaurante vegetariano en carrer pintor fortuny más enfocado para personas que busquen comer antes de ir a trabajar, no tanto para largas conversas mientras se come. Todo es vegetariano, y más de la mitad de los platos son veganos o con opción vegana. Hay buffet y camareros para que elijas según preferencias y tiempo.

Could not choose what to order from the menu so I went for the gazpacho (super creamy and with extras as it should be) AND a tataki from tomatoes, avocado and tofu (so surprisingly balanced and tasty). Also the staff was very nice and they have a pretty vintage decor inside to sit.
