Excellent Vegan fare/ambiance for X-MEXICO guests only - Edit
UPDATE: After August 2022 a policy change means this restaurant is only accessible to guests of Xcaret MEXICO, not Xcaret ARTE (unless you have a bracelet from Casa de Artistas).
Read moreIncluded as part of Xcaret Mexico's all-inclusive stay (or ~$100 USD day pass), located just in front of the more-trafficked "Cuevas" restaurant or just south of the kayak rental bay. It was so refreshing to have a full menu to choose from, because some of Xcaret Resorts' other restaurants can be hit or miss with options (e.g. on the good end, Cayuko at the pool had a dedicated vegan section of the breakfast buffet with several entrees and pastries available, and Encanta or the other "reservation-only" restaurants can accommodate with modifications; on the worse side, the Cafeteca shop, Cantina Vai-Ay-Pi, Mercado San Juan, and Arenal were all pretty dreadful even though Arenal did try at least (most of their dinner menu is just hunks-of-meat platters). If you're staying, I would recommend planning to come here at least once per day to get an excellent meal! And don't hesitate to order two "entrees" -- they're pretty manageable. Ask for a table by the river!

Vegan restaurant on Xcaret hotel complex - Edit
Small vegan restaurant in the Xcaret complex. It has a small but perfectly formed menu with western and Mexican options. Highly recommend the tacos and Buddha bowl.

Favorite place in all Cancun - Edit
We ate here every day. They have an amazing breakfast and lunch menu with totally vegan items and smoothies. Worth going to the resort just for this place!
