Subtle and delicious

Tasty, freshly made dumplings, wontons, and noodles. Modest portions and authentic, subtle flavors. Star of the show was the house pickled vegetables. Dumplings and noodles were also quite good. Fast, friendly service. Nice atmosphere.

Fair and expensive

I ordered the vegan dumplings marked $15 on the menu. So, I'm a dumpling fan, I go to places and order all the dumplings, and was assured by the staff that it was a full meal amount of dumplings. It ended up being an appetizer, maybe large appetizer, amount of dumplings. They also were fair, but nothing to write home about. I left, still hungry and wishing I went to Casa Diablo.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan choices, Good beer choices, Dumplings were servicable

Cons: Expensive, Nothing stood out about the dumplings

Dumplings and Noodles

We arrived for lunch, but it was so busy that we decided to leave and return for an early dinner. My partner and I enjoyed the vegan dumplings, which are filled with shiitake and wood ear mushrooms and Impossible meat. I ordered the Cong You Mian, which is a Shanghai-style house-made scallion oil with thin noodles and sesame. The flavor was somewhat subtle, but satisfying.

Pros: clearly-marked vegan options

Cons: busy
